@nomoreabuse58 Another side of the story is we've been living together with elephants for thousand years and they become part of life and family. (just like horses and camels in other countries). But house elephants can't be released to wild since they live with human for generations. Most of Thais are one of kindest people who love animals (but of cause, not all of us). So we stop capturing wild elephants since hundreds years ago and use law to protect their welfare. Some are moved to sanctuaries. We keep doing the best to reassure our beloved elephant will have good living. We also have elephant hospitals here in Thailand to take special care of them. Asking to release all elephants to the wild is just like to release all horses to the wild. It's dangerous for them becoz they can be attacked by wild elephants as well. 🙏

@nomoreabuse58 Here's another story about wild baby elephant lost from wild since December and be surrounded by vets and babysitters to take care of him and will find stepmother elephant for him until he grow enough to be trained for living in the wild with his new mom and have someone follow them for weeks to reassure they're safe like we did last time. We Thais are sensitive and care about our elephants and any injured animals just like you and other people. If anyone hurt animal in Thailand it will be on the news and people will curse that person for days. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6rUhqOFh6eZack
I love Thai Chinese food along that street. So huge community and delicious in Surin city. They moved from Bangkok when the railway is completed by King Rama 5.
