خوش بگم چترال کے شاہکار لوک گیتوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ اس کی تشکیل علی امان خان نے 1880 کی دہائی میں کی.
امان خان خوش وقت قبیلے سے تعلق رکھتے تھے اورکھواران کی مادری زبان تھی ۔اصلا یاسین کے باشندے تھے تاہم چترال کے حکمران اور اس وقت یاسین کے گورنر مہترسردارنظام الملک نے ان کے خاندان کو اشکومن کےچٹورکھنڈ دائین میں جائداد مہربانی کی تھی یوں ان کاخاندان اشکومن میں ابادہوگیاتھا۔خوش بیگم کاتعلق دائین کے ایک متوسط گھرانے سے تھی اوران کی منگنی غذرکے علاقے بارست میں طے پا چکی تھی ۔اس لیے ان کے آپس میں عشق ورومان کے باوجود ملاپ نہ ہوسکی ۔

I am sorry to say but I am disappointed with what you have done to this most famous folk masterpiece, You have completely changed its tone and impact and absence of local musical instruments makes it look like a complete different ordinary song. I would specifically like to refer Qasqarian who are using the original musical instruments along with modern instruments making it a beautiful combo, their way of prnounciation and delivery of khowar songs is much much better than you and jile listening to their songs, one feels like that he/she is listening to local khowar speaking singer while in your case it sounds like am listening to non-khowar speaker. Your other song "haya hase angar is still better because you have kept its original tune". Please I suggest to retry Khush Begum with its original tune and with Chitrali sitaar.
