pro tip for farming necromus and paladius... spawn 6 of them, use frostalion... wait till they get frozen then rocket launcher them. rocket launching a frozen pal currently launches them into the air and they ista die when hitting the ground works everytime on any pal

You can get them from any key chest technically, idk if which key matters but I got cloth legendary from copper chest and assault rifle from gold chest. So you don’t have to exclusively run dungeons.

There are multiple Pals in the Game that have the Partner Ability to convert your Damage to Elementdamage. Those that can be mounted give you a +50% Attackpower on Top. Singleshot Rifle against the Trainingsdummy deals 2k Damage and it goes up to 3k if you mount f.e Ragnahawk. This obv. increases further if said Element is effective. So my Headshot Damage against a Boss goes up from 93 to 220.

Want to note that Refined metal is actually HARDER TO GET IN MASS, then Regular Pal metal (not the end tier one I think called Palsteel or something). I have been playing around lv 45 to I think I just hit lv 50 on a solo world. (normal exp gain 90 or more hours in, my day's are 54 mins my nights are about 42 minutes, makes more sense/feels better.) Coal is extra mining needed, when you need stone anyways for other things, like turning it into that Pal blue stone stuff for sphere making/other. Or making cement for spheres as well. Rather just have one full time running stone pit vs having to have a coal one as well as a stone one. Basically making Pal metal and Palsteel metal bars are easier, and both are the last two end game metals. Refined metal is more an annoying I have to have it around for repairs at this point. Metal mining sites are only needed if you didnt build in a metal rich spot, and you only need one sulfur node on base (or a Metal site on base if build on a sulfur coal rich spot.) I am assuming based on oil as is right now, that you will need a second base to focus on oil, farming/ranching, and breeding. Your main base is the mining town, with a logging site with 1 to 2 pals on that logging site at all times (charcoal). Only Pal metal armor, and up on armor matters here. Tier 2 makeshift pistol beats the legendary regular pistols and is not nearly as hard to get (only difference is 6 shot clip vs 10, and ammo type is coarse vs normal pistol ammo). Assault-rifle, Single shot Rifle, and Rocket launcher are the only other weapons that matter, maybe the Pump action shotgun, but I find it a tad weaker then the assault rifle. Though if I had to guess on ammo cost it might be cheaper to run the Pump vs A-Rifle. Single shot rifle is the go to for damage and cost effectiveness for each shot (aka you will spend less money/resource per shot). I personally find the Rocket launcher more a meh weapon, but I see why people like it and use it. I feel its either too good where its useful and overkill vs cost where it is not. Really hate how the scaling works in this game with damage, its not really involving. First your level matters for max lv of your pals that is the real. Second even if you put all points into attack from lv 2 on you wont really do that much damage difference but will die like crazy without hp, as shields are "nice" but break easy/often which then recharges only if you can dodge like crazy good. (I am ok at that, but not great) Look with normal settings no real changes, you can hit lv 30-35 so quick and basically rush to Pal metal stuff another bit after once you get to it in the tech tree from leveling. Its the scaling jump they push on lv 45-50 that slows you down, and if you want to do anything at all past lv 50, you need to perfect breed your pal team, 4 star them up ( I know some call that 5 staring same dif), and FULL pal soul them on attk, def, and HP. Once you do that I just hit lv 50 Pals and now they dont die in two-3 hits anymore against there weakness of equal or greater lv enemy pals. Until you do this, you will likely be switching pals out in fights over and over and playing the dodge game. Of course once you get to higher level fighting/legendary Pals, I have noticed two things about boss fights and high level play. --First enemy bosses will IGNORE your pal 90% of the time. Sure they may be able to kill your pals very fast, but they ignore your pals way too often. Usually only 1-2 moves a legendary pal does is actually of any worry of killing, most other moves will either be mild or meh damage (aka the non signature moves that you have access too as well.) So you end up playing more a dodge simulator, Pal switch as needed, and have to wait til your pals do enough damage. As you cant deal enough damage to matter unless your spamming 100,000's worth of ammo (hours upon hours of auto mining grind/money making). --Second, your damage will never be overly useful in most fights compared to pal moves ( the good ones, not crap skills like stone blast or fire spirit spray crap). So the games damage scaling, breed farming, resource grinding, and RNG drops all combo to one thing only. Time wasting grind game. This game has no real skill, no real strategy, just dps checks if you met certain levels/equipment checks.

By the way, to increase the odds of getting the schematic, catch them, then butcher them. That gives you two chances, and right now, with the glitch that if you kill them as the ball catches them, it will drop its drops, then the catch gives you one, then butcher them for three times total to get the schematics.

Quick tip: for anyone doing/trying to get the Legendary Schematics DO NOT KILL ANY of the bosses right off the rip capture them first if you didn't get the schematic from capturing them any one for that matter THEN after that with the Meat Cleaver put them of your team and send them out of their sphere then butcher them... as grim and morbid as it sounds/looks I did this and got the Pump Shotgun x3 doing this and I've only killed the boss two times! Edit/Disclaimer: Now if anyone is doing this sill or is about to begin doing it bare in mind just because doing it does in fact increase your chances of getting the schematics it's still at the end of the day a chance based item to get if your still struggling to get them set your world settings of your pal drop multiplier from 1 to 3 also put the amount of pals that spawn in the world at a given time from 1 to also 3 making that 3 bosses You have to fight now instead just 1.

I think I am done with this game. would have liked to finish the final boss but with my weak common weapons I run out of time and for some reason can'i get my Pals to attack most of the time. they just sit there confused.

Hope they make legendaries and/or uniques. I love my musket for the range (ironically), high burst damage and amazing ammo economy. Wish I could use it as a marksman rifle but it falls off in damage in the late game. Edit: Mabe add a Garand or something? Decent range, high damage, single shot rifles are nice.

the drops are NOT exclusive to the bosses, as a side note. i got the legendary pump action blueprint from a red chest in the north tundra island while running around. so they CAN come from other sources, albeit likely extremely rare as well :o

The Pumpgun damage is per pellet. Its by far the Strongest Gun in this Game. Beside the Rocket launcher. Same with the tripple shot bow. It has less damage as the Normal but because the damage Number you see is per Arrow. So multiply it by 3 and you have the actual damage.

normal legendary palmetal armor with thermal+2 and heat resistant+2 underwear. you can get all three of these from lvl 45 dungeons. gives the advantage of not having to repair using ice or fire organs and you dont have to carry two sets of armor and extra underwear

05:02 this is misleading, from watching the video you make it sound like you can only get these legendary schematics and that they only drop from bosses but you can get them for pretty much all weapons and armor from chests that require Keys. Like how i recently got a legendary handgun schematic from some chest. If i had just watched this video i would think it just doesnt exist.

The drop rates are too low I just dont farm them. I killed bushi on cooldown for every hour of play from levels 15-50 and it never dropped.

What is the best way of transporting metal ingots around. I just farmed 600 ore, smelted it to 303 ingots. You can only acquire the whole amount at once making me weighed down. Ive done the drop it, move closer and pick it up, drop it , move closer and pick it up, etc before but ive now lost 120 ingot stack and 303 ingot stack. My solution to the 120 ingot loss was to put a box beside the forge, acquire from forge, put in box and then break it down in smaller quantities to carry. the problem is if i can get into box then i cant get into forge so i have to move away from box which means when I acquire it I have to drop it at least once to get closer to the box. The answer can not be you have to stay at your base to make sure it never goes over your weight that is crazy and would stop me from exploring being I do the most exploring when I'm low on ingots smelting more and cant do anything at base. Where was the Ai on this issue ;) if it can not be solve ( which it can) then the forge should never be able to smelt more than you can carry because of the "acquire all at once" feature, IMO.

i personally keep smelting near my palbox, and just after grabbing them, i grapple to the palbox. grappling doesnt care about your current weight

A way to do it if you are not using your main base as your farm is to have a secondary base set up, fill it with mining and transport pals (anubis work well here) and a storage box as close to the palbox as possible. This will let your pals mine and transport said mined ore to the box and you dont have to be there. is it effecient, probably not as much as if you were there doing the mining yourself using a mount like astegon or the digtoise command. However you also arent sitting there over encumbered grappling yourself across the area to get to your box. Edit: also can just go to the wildlife preserve and farm the pals that spawn there as bushi drop ingots and other pals drop the other two types.

For transporting thousands worth of weight the grappling gun is the way to go. If you're just transporting things around your base though remember there's pals that will increase your carry capacity while they're in your party. Cattiva is +50 and Lunaris +80. There's also Kingpacas and Broncherries for +100 and Wumpos for +120, but you need to make their saddle first to get the effects.

It would be cool if the legendary items were good to have. I have a legendary pelt armor. But the basic metal armor is better by alot. Making it only good to get legendary items of the top tear equipment. Kinda lame for the resources you need.

There is chance rate for that, not everytime you kill the Alpha, you get schematics

I have a Spear that is the one the Bee pal holds and it cost NOTHING TO REPAIR as crazy as that sounds i use it to smash ore and trees and if a breaks?! who cares it costs No materials to repair it! base 150 damage speak in the style of elzabee.

no way is the drop rate 1% ive had the old bow the pelt and the crossbow legendary and ive not even done all the bosses and the ones ive done ive done maybe 3 times on an official server

Do you have to defeat them or can you also capture them?

Capture them, if you didn't get any, butchered them, doesn't increase the rate, but you got 2 chances

I wish they would have given melee weapons some love, they could use a legendary spear or sword.

There’s lilys spear. I havent crafted it though cause this game is stupid and doesn’t tell you the stats of things before you waste your time crafting them.

@@Davelever366 I've crafted it but it's not good in comparison to legendary guns. If you're going against a level 45+ it literally just tickles them

The pendants are common drops at the ends of dungeons. Some give health, some give defense. I just wear double shirts for temperature protection, because some areas will drain all your health without it.
