Yeah. He's more of a conventional rock guitarist here with some interesting ideas and voicings. That steely, crystal clear tone hasn't appeared yet! Laura now plays a bit like Duck Dunn and the like. A way more economic, tight bassist now than she is in this video. Great to see! Good bands are allowed to evolve naturally.

@@omiluna7362 Yes I have more than you, all I watch is rare 70s live videos ie beat club etc, and my dad produced tv in the 70s and 80s, I know all the vintage video formats, have worked on many video recorders then. That said, this is either a digital effect to make a modern digital recording look like vintage tape, or it was really recorded on a vintage video tape camera ie camcorder or vintage broadcast camera. Most likely is a digital effect tho as few are going to use the real thing as effects are so good these days. Video tape was obviously at it's peak in the 80s, but was used in the 70s, mostly any with this look in the late 70s. I have seen late 70s concerts with this look. Video tape was used far back as the 50s and 60s tho black and white on certain tv shows and news footage then, not often in color, even in the 70s much. That is why I said 80s look. as 99% of things with this look is 80s not 70s, tho you are correct some existed in the 70s, but was rare, so for anyone to call this a 70s look when it was a very rare exception few have seen as not prevalent at all in the 70s, but it was ubiquitous in the 80s, is why it can be referred to looking 80s and not 70s, except among the rare few examples among the handful of geeks like us in the know about this stuff, to 99% of anyone else it's an 80s look. Most 70's music videos using tape looked like beat club and musikladen which is not this cleaner look (rare for late 70s, common in the 80s)
