Nqabisa’s mother can’t even look after the two youngest kids boasting that they’re at school in egoli as if it’s a heavenly place. What a mother! Nqabisa dear, you dodged a bullet of a mother there, your auntie and malume did an amazing job raising you. You might reconcile with your mother but stick to your beloved auntie.

Sindi's story is heartbreaking, It looks like neglect is generational. That's why sometimes it's not wise to judge children when they mess up especially if we do not know their full story. Her little girl seems determined to break that. I'm so proud of her. Sindi lost me when she suggested she brings her children, i was like " No no no!"

Somehow I see nothing wrong with calling her by name. She has never mothered her at all. The girl was very respectful to her mother, I kept thinking she's amazing to have gone through that and handle the meeting with patience and calmness.
@jacobbush93446 жыл бұрын
+Nandipha Tatoba- I totally understand you but I think she could have done better than to call her by her first name, but as you say, she has not mothered her maybe her customs agree to that if somebody has not mothered them then call them by their first name. I would have thought even calling her sister or something was better, but I may be wrong because she has not mothered her.
@nandiphatatoba81986 жыл бұрын
Another thought that came to mind was that the little girl was raised in a home (orphanage), those spaces are usually run by westerners, where calling people by name is a norm and not a sign of disrespect at all.
