Well seemed like cemented jailed structure with comfortable insides. Only a showpiece house not a home nor any sign of it. A lavish taaboot as they say

Key things you are missing which must be included 1. Size of the Plot 2. Covered Area 3. A themed video of the House for 1 minute minimum, Drone footage of the House 4. Date of Construction 5. Key features that were kept in mind while construction

Watching it again, still love it. Favourite bits : fabulous main door, excellent doors in general, use of brick is a great nod to lahore's original architecture. love the plantation, especially outside the basement. So many elements worth praising. No house is perfect. Would i make a house exactly like that? Probably not. But Each building should be tailored to its owner. This house is original. Not the cookie cutter homes we see normally. I can see that a lot of thought has gone in to making! Bravo. Wish we saw more original and practical homes on this channel.

This is a beautiful house by U&Z Design mashaAllah, reviewed by Nabila jee who is a legend. I have watched Banjaiga's videos on her house more than two dozen times, and based the design of my house (under construction) on her house. I think along with Kamil Khan sahab, Banjaiga should showcase more of Nabila jee and Ghazanfar Ali Dada sahab's work. Thank you to Banjaiga team for a such a great platform that is educating architects as well as the masses. And I think Hassan has been doing a decent job acting as a host in recent videos.

Skylight in Lahore is a ridiculous idea as it gets unbearably hot. No idea why such experienced architects like Umair & zeenat committed such a folly. It works in Isb though.
@umairzeenat41427 ай бұрын
Hi , for this narrow plot it was the best solution and again these are all rain protected ,most of the sky lights used in the house are getting light from Noth and East sides apart from main courtyard sky light which is direct and mechanically ventilated through ERV ( energy recovery ventilators) system .

our "architects" never think according to Lahore's weather, didn't built eco,weather, economy friendly houses. Even with these big names never saw a house with centralised cooling and heating system
@adamfiaz62824 ай бұрын
Exactly my thoughts. I would love to see a house with as much emphasis on functionality as they put on the aesthetics. What is the point of such a calibrated space if you have to ruin it with ugly split AC units everywhere. Central cooling should be the first priority for any luxury property in Pakistan. Sadly, I have not seen it implemented in any residential project till date.
