I have watched so many BL dramas and nothing beats SOTUS in my heart. The acting is on point and not excessively awkward, and the storyline is just so poignant and meaningful. Watching Kong and Arthit go from antagonism to love is truly a masterpiece. The editing and directing is well done too. Not to mention the music. Listening to this song will always always bring me back to when I first encountered this drama.

agree. i don't really watch bl. as you said, unfortunately most of them tend to a bit too dramatic. like the portrayal of female char, too many uncomfortable smut/ horny scenes, trying to portray a man as a woman, lack of good acting & storyline etc etc etc. not very enjoyable to watch. but not sotus. arthit & kongbop relationship and other characters as well, seems so.. normal? its like they could be my friends and my friends' problems. it so believable. so slice of life, but that's the beauty of it.

Many may say that the chemistry in SOTUS is slow but tbh that is what makes this series special , it shows the reality of gay relationship - from being senior-junior to their friendship, realisation, internal conflict and finally acceptance of feelings. It shows the character development of both the characters so beautiful and tbh the storyline is amazing too and how well it depicts the SOTUS system.

I am new to BL series. I watched many newest BL and later found Sotus. And all I can say SOTUS is the BEST. I dont know how many times I rewatch SOTUS and SOTUS S. I dont even rewatch the other BL series. Singto and Krist chemistry are over the top. They portray the love story between Kongpob and Arthit really well. The music really good. The story and script are fantastic. I really want Sotus season 3 with the same team. I really need it. Now I know why people called SOTUS legend of BL series.

2gether maybe the most famous BL now. But 2gether is really a ordinary average BL. Maybe it became famous for yt recom and both the leads are really good looking which caught the attention of international fan. Like me, 2gether was my first thai BL. It's good seriously but I can confidently say no BL is as good as Sotus. It's so much more than just a BL. Omg I'm gonna cry now 😭😭. The feels it gives you.

I just finished watching Sotus and will watch Sotus S later. I became a fan of BL just this year, and when I asked someone what to watch, Sotus is always on the list. It is been 6 months since I became a fan of Bl and just this week I decided to watch it because I thought if I watch this series just because a lot of people say to watch it, I think it will create much expectation and I will not appreciate the series the way it is like it will just responsibility ( I don't know T_T this is just my opinion). I was captivated by Krist on the series I'm Tee Mee Too he acts so well, such a talented human, Singto makes my heartbeat so fast when he smiles. I decided to watch this series because I want to watch it now. Not because someone said this is good or whatsoever. I just watch it without expectations and I don't even know who are the casts and soo glad I didn't get to watch clips or spoilers so it was like watching without knowing what is going to happen. now that I finished it, just wanna say that it deserves to get recommended, their love is so pure, the chemistry on another level the plot is soo good. This series is non-toxic and realistic. There's no bed scene, but their gazes at each other are enough to make you scream like an idiot. Highly recommended! Sotus is indeed legendary.
