I was a little white kid in the UK in the 60s and 70s with a dad who loved boxing. Ali was my hero and likely the most famous man in the world, He was amazing. Not a heavy hitter but had the reactions of a cat. There will never be another like him.

That’s why he’s the greatest. Remember this is a 225 lb six foot two heavyweight moving like this. Bruce Lee learned to box from Ali. Even Bruce lee said that Ali was too big too quick and too strong for him

7:15 Muhammad Ali’s opponent was Brian London, and Ali threw 12 punches in 2.8 seconds.

I wish I could have been born with the same size, speed and reflexes as Ali...my goodness he was just so naturally gifted and talented. I wish we could have seen how good he coulda really been had he not been banned from boxing for FOUR YEARS during his peak years. He didn't even train a whole lot during that time off, returned to the sport, wasn't quite the same level but he still was beast af.

All of these clips were from the 1960’s. Opponents were Henry Cooper, Cleveland Williams, Sonny Liston, Earnie Terrell, and Zora Foley.

That dance move is the Ali Shuffle, apparently its one of the hardest things to do in terms of footwork, I've never tried it myself in a ring with the shoes and all that stuff but basically its just meant to taunt them, to entertain people watching, and maybe even to confuse them with it.

Because in boxing you turn away from your opponents power hand normally. When Ali shuffled his opponent didn’t know which way he was going to go.

I know it's unpopular, but I still think Tyson would punish him. All the dancing around with his arms down wouldn't go well.
@buddhaparadox Жыл бұрын
Naw, I believe Ali would have found a way to win. He was just way too crafty, had a lot more heart/grit than Tyson and he was able to take punches better than Tyson. It's sad we'll never know though. That's a super exciting fantasy matchup.

Ali would never put his hands down fighting Tyson. I've seen him fighting with his hands up. He had an arsenal of tools and weapons to beat a Tyson or anyone in his weight class. He could change his strategies on a dime. Ali had the quickest jab of any Heavyweight. That would keep Tyson away. Tyson needed to fight better boxers to get all that hype people give him. He was great but Tyson was really never tested.

@@jeffriessman9693 I was with you till the last couple sentences. Tyson fought the best fighters that were in the sport.
