5:49 The keyboard solo interlude is so funny! Well played, too! Yamaha GS1 rocks so much! One of the rarest and best synthesizers ever made! I wished I had one. Karel Svoboda used it a lot for his amazing soundtracks for Nils Holgersson, The Visitors (Expedition Adam '84), Tao Tao and many more!

Listening to this, I get a much clearer picture of how the GS1 directly begat the DX7.

This has to be one of the best synth songs ever written
I read somewhere that only about 100 of these GS1 were sold back in the 80's and after that, so cool
@jaggass9 ай бұрын
It's true and it makes it more rarer than a DX-1 as only 140 were built because they were costly to male. Sometimes on reverb GS1's do pop up and go for about $25,000
Bruh where did you get the score for this, if u do please share with us :(

Would you happen to know what patch is used for the Galactic funk live solo?
@TiwaODtv9 ай бұрын
Very good! I noticed that when you played the synth horns for the chorus you didn’t use the pitch bend/glissando technique that was used in the original. This got me thinking, did Minoru actually use the pitch bend or did he program it into the synth patch or did he use a regular glissando technique by pitching the entire keyboard up to the right key to do it?

GS1 is far superior to all of them anyway. Legendary synth!

I'm interested in learning how to play Casiopea's music. How did you find the sheet music?
@neog3 жыл бұрын
I don't know about him. I can tell you that their songs are pretty learnable by ear. I learned "Take me" and "Tears of the star" that way.
Swear my favorite song, but goodness gracious how did you get GS1??????
