Install a hidden Killswitch in the car cab. They may be able to get in the door, but they can’t steal it. I always find the wire to the fuel pump splice it and install a switch.

A friend of mine just recently moved back to the city I live in from Georgia. We hung out this week and I brought my flipper with me. All I did was show it to him I didn’t show him the contents of my flipper. We went to take his dog to the dog park and met his neighbors. I was holding my flipper with the Flux Capacitor attached. One of his neighbors is in the Navy and told my friend that he’s had to take a bunch of of crazy classes about how bad the flipper is and that mine was “highly modified” is what he said. He told my friend that when he saw it in my hand he put his phone on airplane mode😂. That one action just shows how little he knows about the device. I couldn’t believe it.

Besides leaving vehicles unlocked, it's stunning how many people will leave a weapon in their vehicle. Locked or not. I had to check the comments to see how many people were saying, _"Bro, you're just showing people how to do it!"_ I assure you, if it's a method, tool or device used to commit criminal activity, they already know about it. That's literally their job. Jails and prisons are like criminal education universities, where people go to get some free dental work, healthcare, and get fed regularly, all while advancing their training / skills. (Most) Garages = Mass Storage Devices (no cars allowed)

💯 false. Nobody behind bars wants to steal your car other than the juveniles that didn’t learn the first time. This page promotes education as a need to know basis. All of our IT graduates learn the craziest unbelievable tactics to prevent and protect. You have a better chance of a child learning from the web harming you than someone who just did 25 years “behind bars” education.

If the password uses vin components, you should cover your vin number which is visible in the lower corner of the windshield.

A simple fix would be for the car to limit the number of unsuccessful attempts in a given time and lock out for a while

Several manufacturers have "active alarm" lockouts that prevent access to the security functions if an improper or no transponder is present when starting it, but it's a limited time. However, this doesn't do anything for the door locks in which constantly listen and use the unencrypted ID to determine if it should listen to the rest of the bitstream.

how about a python script for a De Bruijn Sequence that generates a ducky script with a sequence, passcode length =4, delay=1000 to test with badkb on flipper zero XFW firmware against an iphone? I realize the iphone will most likely lock you out before all possibilities are run or passcode found. Looking through the .txt ducky script I do see my wife's passcode. Always appreciate you!

@@admin.ChristianoGaio If you do that you're committing an offense that can warrant jail time. You'd be interfering with everyone's GPS in their vehicle around you, potentially those of emergency services. Messing with emergency services is a great way to end up in jail. You're far better off getting an app for your phone (If you have an Android) and set a fake location that way.

U don’t need a flipper then not smart lol 😂😂😂 the ignition on most those Kia’s and Hyundais have no security there’s removing the plastic ignition and using a usb cable . Not rocket science protect ur self a simple 12v remote battery disconnect can save u

I never thought I'd see a company so irresponsible to use the de Bruijn sequence in this decade. It exists on ancient garage door opening systems but... wow. That sequence is just a file and it's readily available, many devices can transmit it, including the hackrf and flipper zero. It's nothing special, which makes this even more ridiculous, it's not an oversight, it's negligence.

@@ParodieHecker-mobile It's just a long number that contains all possible number sequences. It's a far more effective manner of brute forcing each number one at a time. Nobody should be using simple random digit sequences anymore. That's why they add part of the VIN or other unknown numbers. Limiting the code entries, adding a prefix, blocking entries after a few failed entries... there's so many ways to stop these hacks or otherwise slow them down to the point it would take years to hack them. Simplistic RFID implementations have the same problem. Old systems use the card serial number and can be hacked in exactly the same way. Newer systems (but not the best) use a facility ID and card ID. If you have the first, the second is easy to crack though. Once again, there's ways to stop this occurring and most manufacturers don't bother. Security by obscurity is coming back to bite them.

What you just said makes zero sense. No company is using it for their encryption or anything- it literally can't be used for that. No garage door has ever used it - because that's not what it's for. No, it's not a file. It's a sequence- a sequence that is different in literally every application and a sequence that is used to brute force not to encrypt. Did you even watch the video?
