Regarding KIA product I have a doubt about its body durability. KIA is doubious for its body build quality. Even your team has not shown the boot space & ground clearance. 2 disappointing view that shared by your team members one was the side bolstering were missing in middle row pilot seat & another was the lack of under thigh support in last row. Otherwise such a massive space in the last row is rarest thing. Kudos for your efforts to give a such kind of shooting.

the second row seats are a tad too short in height & width in an otherwise brilliantly packed car. only concern left is safety. if it scores at least a 4 stars in Global NCAP, this will be a successful model

Company's claim 1.5 is 15.70 Real world it would be 13.20 Company's claim 1.4 turbo is 16.70 Real-world would be 14.40 And the main thing mileage varies depends upon the rider. If rider rides smooth and don't rev the engine unnecessary then mileage would be pritty nice. So, right now choice is yours for which variant you want to go with.

I have booked Astor because I liked the suspension, steering response and premium build inside and outside, but the wait time is 12 months. But if you are a large family go with Carens, it has less wait period anyway.

Astor merits Built on ZS Platform which acquired Global NCAP - 5 Star Unrivalled interior quality - Nothing in segment gives that interior I like the MG customer responsiveness more than Kia Definitely draws attention on the road no doubt for its looks- more sporty car MG seems to be serious with India especially after its ZS EV Success Road visibility, suspension and steering response is better than carens/seltos Yes 0-100 kmph is longer to reach due to its weight Rear seat armrest in style variant itself, 60:40 split Automatic climate control from base model Soft touch leatherette dashboard Rear wiper washer demerits: No ARAI Claimed mileage but reviews say 13-14 in urban - demotivating Highway might get us about 18 considering the highway quality Style variant misses out on Reverse parking camera - only one downside (but super gets it) MG resale is long way to go.. unless some miracle occurs in 5 years We are not sure about MG spares cost yet Carens merits: Perfect pricing for 6 seater car - market leader there and an Ertiga direct rival now. Kia reliable service (at least little better than MG) Resale for Seltos and Carens will be better (At least I believe so) Mileage same as Astor but acceptable for a bigger capacity car. Carens demerits: No wiper washer rear Hard plastic dashboard Global NCAP 3 Rating (same platform as seltos) Kia USA has recalled about 1 lakh cars upon the risk of catching fire, huge goodwill problem globally. Conclusion: If I were to choose, I would choose Astor especially for its premium-ness.
