as german i feel all german cars are getting way behind now. especially against newest gen chinese cars. i drive one of those anyday and will never go back to german cars. kinda sad

I like the looks of the car and the bigger battery for better range. I don’t like the centre console and the fact that it’s not covered as in my Niro. I can’t see the point of a pull out table it’s seems a bit of a gimmick to me. However I love the overall look of the inside it’s light colours give it a nice airy feel much like my original EV the Hyundai Kona which had a lovely blue interior. My current Niro has black upholstery which I hate but that was all that was available at the time.

My biggest con for this car is the charging flap being at the front, rear(side) is much better. I really hate forward parking

Forward parking is faster overall. Reason: Reversing out of a spot is faster than backing into one. Understand?

This is high on my short list after 2 x i3s over 8years. I'm puzzled Kia & Hyundai are not matching the efficiency of their early Niros and Konas, we need to see someone doing a full disciplined range test at a single speed. Efficiency matters with high UK public charging costs. After driving a RWD for the last 20yrs, front wheel drive is slightly bothering and front+side is the worst charging flap location. However, nice interior, good UI and the i-pedal/regen is inspired and class leading. Presentation - a real pro as usual. 🙂

20:50 It‘s not a city car I have to say. It‘s at least Golf-class, means, that it drives completely fine also on longish trips. Ok, not yet driven the EV3 though. Maybe I‘m wrong. 40k would be a expensive city car (like the deprecated i3).
