It seems an over adjustment for the time below 130, or more mathematically correct, for the distance travelled at lower speed. Average speed is not useful for efficiency calculations, because if you drive really fast half the time, and really slow the other half, you use way more energy than travelling at the same speed the whole time, despite the same average speed. Driving mostly at 130 but with construction zones slowing you at times until average is 110, will still use close to same energy as 130 the whole time, and much more than travelling the whole time at 110. At the extreme, imagine you have to stop for 10 minutes for a stop sign, lowering average speed, but using the same energy if you did not stop at all, because zero distance is covered at a lower speed.

It's so hard buying a really good EV ! I thought the KIA EV6 was for me. I absolutely love that cockpit style which is similar to my Prius Gen. 3, but then i see that terrible consumption... The next downside is the unacceptable delivery time of one whole year or even more. Are they building these cars in slow motion ? Why can I get a new KIA Sportge in just 3 months, but have to wait for an electric car one year ? Next we have the Model 3 which seems to be a good car overall and at least is available and not just to be admired in a showroom, but it can't even do the simplest of things other manufacturers cars can do since years, like reliably sensing rain, recognising road signs and properly react to them, auto high beam is unusable and more dangerous to others than useful, self park is terribly slow and not even included in a 50.000 Euro worth car ! It doesn't automatically stop infront of obstacles, other cars or garage wall while manoeuvring in a parking lot and it still brakes on the Highway for no reason ! For some strange reason you can't turn off the recuperation completely as I would on the highway and you can do in other EV's. Yes I know, all of the mentioned can get better through OTA-Updates, but honestly I have been following the devolopement of that car since near 2 years now and still nothing of the mentioned has gotten better ! So come on Tesla, step up your game allready !!! ID3 maybe a good car, but the interior is awful ! On top of all that the charging prices only know one direction and that's is up, so I am wondering if I as a curbside parker should better keep my extremely efficient and reliable Prius which is way more flexible, I can start driving at any time without having to worry about the SOC and has a way better range than every electric car even if I go at 160 km/h on the highway. I am really disappointed in the so called electric revolution, it promised to be good, but as it turns out it's getting worse and worse !

@timemachine_194 You are not getting the picture I am afraid ! Even if my Prius consumes 6 Litres which indeed is efficient for a gas car car traveling at high highway speeds and with "high" I don't mean 130 kph but way above that, i still pay less or similar for petrol per 100 km as a curbside parker as charging prices are getting rediculous high here in Germany, but I don't have the downsides of an electric vehicle at the same time, such as very, very limited range at even low highway speeds and not having to constantly watch the SOC as I can fill up in just a few minutes and allways will find a petrol station to do so very close nearby. That's not the case with charging stations I'm affraid and even if I happen to do find one, i have to be lucky it's not occupied ! With my Prius I can start driving straight away in case of an emergency in the family f.e., no matter how much fuel is left in the tank, with an electric car I may have to charge the car 20 minutes first and if we have cold weather it will charge at a very slow rate too. All seen from the perspective of a curb side parker, it's a different case if you are capable of charging at home, but I am dependent on local charging ! If I would drive at the speeds EV are usally driven on our highway, so let's say 100-110 kpm or even 80 kph behind a lorry... the Prius would easily beat the costs in a positive way of the EV, even though gas prices have significantly gone up ! To many people want a piece of the pie I'm affraid !
