Hey, nice upgrade to the stereo. Just wondering on the back of the radio is there connection port for the subwoofer you added or did you have to connect it another way?

hi - there is a rem wire ( i think its pink ) when you turn the radio its give 12v to the rem on the sub - for the speakers i connected the high input of the sub to the radio speakers ( no RCA on this radio ) thanks

Great video! I see there's a little space left around the 4 inch dash speakers. Do you think there would be room for a 5 or 5.25 inch set?

hi - i think 5inc will fit - but this 2 speakers deliver mid+trable do not exspect for bass - the 4 inc will do the jub

@@MASTERUDA thanks Yudah. I've got a sub and am looking at the head unit loom right now. Got to find the correct wiring diagram for it. Only thing I can find for the 2011+ models is a completely different pinout setup. Any ideas on where I can find the correct diagram?

@@pitchblackblood Hi - you can use the pink wire on the radio unit for the sub rem ( 12v that turn the sub on - its blue wire on the sub ) + connect the sub high input to the front speakers

@@MASTERUDA it's alive! Only problem is that on this unit the pink is the radio antenna remote, so it's doesn't send a signal to the amp to turn on unless it's actually using the radio. The remote amp point doesn't have a plug or a wire, or I'd use that.

For me the power that the radio puts out is definitely enough the radio in total should provide power to the 2 small speakers in the front + the 2 speaker in the back door. dont forget that its a small car (-:

if you mean the wire to the sub - i use the high input to the sub and not the RCA ... so i connect the sub to the rear speaker wires

hello, how did you disassemble the plastic cover of the speakers? are they interlocking?

Hi - you can do it with Plastic extractor or A flat-blade screwdriver just be careful not to scratch the plastic. Push it to the edge and pull the covers up

Hi I sold the car so can not make a video .. I just put the speaker under the passenger seat without screws - there is exactly the necessary place there not to move - I moved the cables under the carpet of the car to the chair

Hello i tried a update with audiosystem speakers 10cm. And jbl. But they are all to small and 13cm is to big. Will this speakers fit automatically?

You can see in the video that I grabbed the 10 cm (4 inch) speaker with one screw and that was enough for me, try to buy a high quality speaker otherwise over time it will buzz.

היי - אין מצב שתקבל בס נורמלי מרמקולים שהם 4 אינטש ( למרות שיש עוד 2 רמקולים של 5.5 אינטש בדלתות אחורה) במקרה של פיקנטו רק סאב ורצוי כזה כי סאב רגיל יתפוס את כל התא מטען שגם ככה פצפון . בהצלחה .

i installed the hertz DCX100.3 (not good speakers ) front spekers and i replace them with JBL id.jbl.com/en/car-speakers/GX402_.html for the sub i installed ALPINE PWE-S8 www.alpine.co.il/p/Products/SingleView/pwe-s8

Hey Sorry but I sold the car so can not make another video. Take a flat-blade screwdriver and carefully insert it under the plastic on the side of the steering wheel. Then insert your fingers and simply pull all the cover of the plastic. Do not be afraid to pull hard (by the way it is without screws).

you do not need any cables . i use the car original cables for the front speakers and the sub is coming with his cable ( in the box) that i connected to the radio

check 2:02 its very simple - just insert some plastic screw driver and pool the panel - there is no screws on the panel - just pool it off

היי - את הפירוק אתה בטח הבנת .. בקצרה להכניס חולץ פלסטיק בצד התחתון שמאל של הכיסוי רדיו ולמשוך אותו החוצה עם היד ... מכיוון שאין חיבור RCA לרדיו אז חיברתי את הסאב לכניסה של HIGH INPUT שמגיע עם כל סאב נורמלי ... את החוטים של ה HIGH INPUT חיברתי לחוטים של הרמקולים האחוריים של הרדיו ... חוט הורוד שיוצא מהרדיו משמש להדלקה של הסאב ( בצד של הסאב בדרכ זה החוט הכחול ) חשמל קבוע כמובן מתחת לסויץ עם פיוז לכבל ראשי ברכב ואת המינוס לגוף ...בהצלחה

Torben Jørgensen de er størrelsen 4” (4 tommer) foran og 5.25” bagi. Med de størrelser, så får du aldrig en helt fænomenal dyb lyd (bass). Der skal du have en subwoofer, eventuelt en aktiv en som kan passe under sædet som ham makkeren her viser i videoen. Angående hvilke højtalere, så er det lidt hip som hap. Der er ingen grund til at købe højtalere til 1000kr fremfor nogle til 200kr, hvis bare du vil køre dem over en radio. Man hører først den store forskel på højtalere, når man kobler en forstærker ind over. Thansen de har nogle der hedder Xzound. Der er et sæt 4” til 139,- kroner. De er lige til at smide ned i hullet hvor de originale sidder, og giver en noget klarere lyd. Hvis du har en præference for andre mærker såsom Pioneer, Alpine eller Rockford Fosgate, så køb et af deres sæt. ALT er en stor opgradering over et standard anlæg. :)

The speakers you have installed on the dash are not very good! you shouldn't have space around them as it will cancel out any bass produced from the speaker

i know - i do not need bass from this speakers - just mid + high . 4.5 Inc speaker do not deliver any bass . all of the bass is coming from the sub and its sound amezing !!! . thanks
