Most entertaining motoring presenter in Australia. Well done!

My wife and I are retired. This is a practical vehicle for us as we take road trips and need a lot of room for luggage. He have grandchildren and there is ample room for their car seats and all the stuff kids need. The car has been very reliable and the only complaint we have is the fact that our Rondo is not good in windy weather. Although our car is well serviced i.e. the tires and alignment are checked regularly, the driver has to keep a firm grip on the wheel to prevent it from wandering. This can take a toll on the driver during longer jaunts. On calm days it's fine.

As an owner for nearly 4 years, I tend to agree with almost all the reviewer's comments. He probably is driving a very new vehicle and it takes a long time for the engine to really loosen-up, particularly given peak torque is at 4,700rpm. But once it does it gives all it's got and has a nice sound. Mine is or was the Pt model which answer's most of the criticisms here, but adds wipe-clean leather, a larger screen, and other nice bits and pieces. Such a shame that this versatile, well-designed car has literally been orphaned by Kia Australia.

Bring back the Rondo, Kia! Make it a little prettier and improve the gas mileage. Lots of people don’t want an SUV or CUV. But we need more space since N. America killed the wagon. Please!

can you get the rondo with a manual transmission? On a different topic what is more common manual or automatic transmission vehicals in Australia? In the U.S you have to special order manual transmissions. Rondo never was offered with a stick in the U.S. I have a 2007 rondo with 75,000 miles currently getting a new power steering pump installed. I am the original owner I bought it with 2 miles on it.Problems over the last ten years; I have had the breaks done at 70,000 miles. Front struts, shocks, and O2 sensor done at 73,000 miles, rear struts don at 69,000 miles after bending them getting towed out of a snow bank. I am on the third battery. That's pretty much it besides tires. I will never by tires at Walmart again. I have the 4 cylinder engine in mine. Resale value tanked after kia stopped importing them into the U.S.

1) I really like his beard at the end of the video. 2) I really wish this generation of Kia Rondo was sold in the USA. I loved the first generation Rondo; the new one with better fuel economy would be the bee's knees.
