Just a single minute drive and giving review is not Justice, I am using this sorento for last 5 months, it's amazing crossover, comfortable to another level, far better than fortune ,luxury vehicle, gives 12.5 on long route. Call me old fashioned but I am not really a fan of too much electronics and computer wizardry in an car. I find this crossover to be the perfect balance. Not too much electronics like in MG HS and not too little like older (imported) SUVs. And you're right, either get this car with a V6 or not at all. Its like buying Sonata with 2.0L engine.

Are you serious. Kia have launched this model in early 2021 and its not even 1 year. New gen is not even introduce in many develop countries. I don't think they are going to bring new line anytime soon. With this price and specs, it's the best and only economical option in 7 seater.

Can someone ask them to review Sorento that has completed/driven 30,000+ KMs to know how robust and reliable is it? The sale of this vehicle has jumped in last few months. Almost selling 230+ units every months that is mainly because of low price tag. As soon as the existing stock is sold the price will increase So the review by Pakweels for the longest driven vehicle will help in buying decision for those who are considering it as an option as compared to Chinese Oshan x7, Tiggo etc On the long term the vehicle reliability is bigger factory than few additional features that may not be very practical on day to day use

I'am in Europe, when Kia launched this Sorento they made a statement, they aiming to compete against the like of Audi Q7 and Volvo XC-90. No wonder with a V6 petrol engine under the hood this car is legit, starting with a 2.4L engine for the one who dosn't need such a powerful engine but a good one, with better fuel consumption. In a market like Pakistan where for 30 years we got the mehran, this one is like a rolls royce. The customers who are buying it will be fully satysfied.

The production quality and cinematography are good. It's the main thing that keeps the viewers engaged. The host has a touch of Jeremy Clarkson in him but the review lacks on technical grounds. There is no format to the review, no objective data to benchmark against, no mention of fuel economy figures, and no mention of important facts about the car. Also point to note, 4x4 and awd are not the same, both serve a different purpose. Sorento is based on carnival but is smaller in size and is a monocoque vs body-on-frame fortuner with 4x4 drive train. The potential is there, could be a lot better if the reviewer did his homework.

This seems to be the best-unbaised review ever I've seen. I was of the same view that Kia has loads of redundant and obsolete inventory which is no longer used in the modern world of technology. It has targeted countries like us as a dumping yard and making fool of us selling at hefty prices. The panoramic view is not compatible with our environment being 8 months of summertime; the engine needs a lot of energy to cool the cabin. The infotainment unit is no longer updated and the buyer is not allowed to change it as the warranty would become void.
