@ethanlau2793 жыл бұрын
Looks sick bro. Makes the car look lower too without the scraping issues. You might want to consider taking the Stinger to a place that does wraps. They can do gloss black instead of the matte Plasti dip finish. Also I think vinyl wrap is much more durable. Will definitely be more expensive but I know you're going for that blacked out look so it'll be worth it in the long run. Oh and nice STi kill lol. Maybe you can make some Scat Pack owners see Stinger tail lights in the future.
@twn2rbo3 жыл бұрын
💯💯💯. Yeah my original plan is wrapping it or replacing it with the carbon fiber pieces. Once I hit 1k subs I will be able to do polls and questions here on KZbin. Carbon fiber is sick but would definitely be the highest cost of it all. But depending on who can wrap and how good they do is an option. Thanks for the support man! Appreciate it

Hay amigo. Just a small warning on the front lip u just bought ... I bought the exact same 1 from ebay, & I added 3M as well, unfortunately after 2 to 3 weeks, the middle piece started to come off, even all the screws started to show, I think the main reason is that the middle piece surface area is large, too thin & on high speeds, wind resistance is took it off slowly. So anyways I've decided to just remove the middle piece & just keep the side ones. Hopefully this won't happen with u. Good luck.

I’ll check em out. Time is my biggest issue when washing the car, but I do a process every 6 months with polishing and ceramic coating. The ceramic has been doing a pretty good job with protecting it, it’s always so shiny after the wash I wipe it down gently with Mother quick Detailer and microfiber.
@twn2rbo3 жыл бұрын
I just watched his black M3 video, this guy does it right! I’ve always used a clay bar prior to compound and polish as well. He had a few more steps he does though so that’s interesting. That could make a good video for the channel, thanks for the suggestion

Do you know if it would fit the 22 stinger???
@twn2rbo3 жыл бұрын
Good question. I sent the seller an inquiry and they responded it only fits the 18-21. Although, I don’t think they widened the bumper on the refresh. I would Google it. They also sell this splitter on Amazon, you could always order it and hold it together under the bumper and find out that way. I’m almost 100 it would still work. If for some odd reason it doesn’t, just rerun it I guess. A lot of 18-22 parts still work on the 22. Worth a shot

@twn2rbo2 жыл бұрын
Great question! It’s actually held up extremely well. Using the 3m tape was the trick on install I think. There is no sagging or anything, it even stayed on through the subfreezing winter and took a pretty bad hit on a pothole. It took a small chip out of the bottom corner but it’s still flush! Best money I’ve spent on a cosmetic mod tbh
