Sign of Jhebbal Sag wont always just send that creature to his Grove. In rare cases, instead of that creature, it summons hostile werewolf, and that would be nasty for someone who just wants to get rid of troublesome creature near his/her base

Great stuff Kiah, thanks! I wonder what does that green pillar of light do above the altar "grove of Jebal Sag"? It just seems to stand there visible from a far. Is there some practical point to it?

It's not practical, it's more of a symbol of the stage of your altar and where it's at. (PVP use) or it looks just pretty in PVE

Ok, but why is it also create a mark on the map? As if it has become very important. The other altars don't do that when leveling up. It is strange, and puzzling.

@@uncletom1971 You can summon the Avatars from these Altars; so that's very dangerous in PvP. And you cannot just hide that somewhere near an enemy base, because of the beam and the map marker. For PvE, though, it really just looks neat is all.

Using any kind of night vision enhancing items during daylight is bad, hence why its called "night vision".
