Looks like a stinger, but the stinger in australia doesn’t have this feature.

But what about other traffic? Backing up, swing out etc. Then inching out or pulling out into passing or approaching traffic? Plus also what if it (you) then do hit another car? Who is the driver? Who's paying!? What does the insurance policy say about using this?

There are sensors to stop the car immediately if they sense an object near them.

The park assists only turns the wheel, it does not move anywhere. The driver is responsible for the pedals and gearbox, thus controlling if the car is moving or not. Only the driver can cause a collision with this system.

this is a very narrow-minded thought, we should welcome technologies always to help us in daily life. These technologies help safe driving, parking etc... Not everyone needs to top a pro-driver, there are several females who just drive to drop off kids, or go grocery shopping, and sometimes these technologies do help. These techs such as Cruise control, line assist, parking, pedestrian crossing, etc... significantly reduce the number of accidents. With your approach, AI-controlled Fly by Wire planes should be grounded and old pressure-based manual airplanes back in the skies. Good lord.

@@willahmad437 WTF you mean several females implying women can't drive?! I agree with your points but your reasonings suck, there are plenty of people (including 'males') who are awful at driving.

@@Norsean first, language please, 2nd did you read my msg carefully? I said Technology helps everyone to drive better and safer. and I never stated women cannot drive, I stated there are some females who hesitate to drive which is true, I knew some females, co-workers, and family friends and yes, they openly say, with that tech help, they drive with much more confidence. If you cannot understand properly then either don't reply or use proper language.

Yes. It is good to be able to do it yourself. But extra help never hurt anyone. If you have a bunch of sensors and computers assisting you, you are objectively less likely to accidentally hit another car. More safety features is ALWAYS better, and having computer-controlled systems like this decreases the chance of human error

You very well know this is not reality in traffic. Lots of bad drivers on the roads and even generally good drivers still frequently make mistakes, all humans are at least sometimes bad drivers. Every sort of driver assist tech reduces the workload on the driver, helps pay attention to what really matters and thus decreases accidents. A decent driver must be able to drive a old basic car without any sort of assists, but if possible doing so should be avoided. Modern cars are significantly safer because of all the driver assist technologies that help prevent accidents.
