I love the enthusiasm xD. It feels like I'm having some sort of sess fangirling with you about sewing. And sometimes sewing can be stereotyped as something older people do or is boring, so its nice to have someone who expresses their passion cuz it feels like a little confidence boost that I ain't the only one who loves sewing.

I know what you mean, but any handicraft is for anyone who loves it. I have been sewing since I was a kid. I though I was older at the time just like any other kid, but my mom said I was 5 haha. I love sewing. I have all the tools she showed in the video except the rulers. I do have design rulers from my architectural design classes which I use when I make patterns. I was skeptical of buying the sewing ones from amazon, now that I know she has them I will get them for sure.

Absolutely, your videos are a joy to watch. None of the excessive, uninteresting babble from so many how-to videos. Your uplifting voice, is so excited about your projects, it makes me want to keep watching. Also, your credentials are impressive, you know what you're doing. I've seen some so called "sewing hacks", and the results look hacked! Learning from you, I know my projects will come out looking great. Thank you, and keep them coming ♥️

Had my second sewing class today, so much fun! Love how you're still hyped up about your materials after all those years, definitely felt as hyped when I went to get my first sewing supplies the other day. Keep your video's coming, they motivate me and you're definitely one of the most technical sewing guru's on youtube, I'm sure you'll have a big following in a year or so if you mix the beginner level with the more technical knowledge! Xoxo from Brussels, Belgium

It's very worth it to make your own pin cushion, it's so fun too. When I was studying seamstress(Ing???) the first thing we did was make our own pin cushions. A guy in my class made his look like an eyeball it was really cool

The fabric used to to wrap around the pattern weights (washers & nuts) were from your first ever collection “Queen of Hearts”! Thought it would be a great memento! Thanks, darling, for the shoutout! 😘😘😘

Momma that fabric is not from queen of hearts it is random athletic fabric I got from the studio😂

I use a lot of the same tools too! Those fabric weights reminded me I’ve been meaning to pick up some various sized washers from Home Depot to stack together which is probably what your mom did :)
@KianaBonollo4 жыл бұрын
Yeah probably! So much cheaper than buying real pattern weights... although I kind of want the glass pattern weights just bc of the aesthetic lmao😂

Do you know how often the rotary cutter blade should be changed ? Love your videos!! 💞
@KianaBonollo4 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I am not completely sure. Personally, I change the blade whenever I notice I really have to work and put pressure on the blade to get a clean cut.
