@@7shinta7 for me it is a opening for the gernan broadcast but still englisch so it isn't a opening in german. So it doesn't make sense " opening + germam-> Naruto. Sorry i switch to german: Warum der Gedanke macht kein Sinn, weil das Opening zu Naruto welches hier lief trotzdem auf englisch lief. Ich als Deutscher denke mir so, was daran ist deutsch. ( ich merke meistens nicht wenn jemand englisch mit deutschen akzent spricht ). Also wie gesagt Sinn machen würde " Anime Opening+ Deutsch = Digimon ( das erste Opening zu den Anime " Leb deinen Traum " dürfte das bekannteste deutsch sprachige Opening sein.

I don't think I heard that one, but I can believe it. There's a German channel that mostly talks about old anime in German TV and, among other things, he makes videos about how openings have been changed in German and other international release. And nearly every time, the Italian one is a banger. Ironically enough, the infamous "German" Naruto OP was Italian-made too. But while it was shown in multiple countries, Italy itself wasn't among them.

I remember seeing Dragon Ball, Pokemon and One Piece on TV in Germany, but not many other anime. Oh, I guess there was also Vicki the Viking and Heidi, which I didn't know were anime when I was a kid.

Next to those you mentioned, obviously also Biene Maja, but also many others over the years like Captain Future, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs (Sei Juushi Bismarck), Die Königin der tausend Jahre (Shin Taketori Monogatari - Sen-nen Joō), Lady Oscar (Versailles no bara), Mila Superstar (Attack No 1), Die Kickers, Sailor Moon and many more. Pokémon et al. was rather late. That only started in the late 90s.🤔

The GT opening is my fav one and wir werden unbesiegbar sein at least for dragonball. There are actually a lot of really good german anime openings and Kiara did sing a couple of them the OnePiece op is in my opinion the best none lf the other come close and funny enough usually german dubs try to copy the original but for OnePiece they didn't and i'm glad they didn't For example Digimon is literally the same as in Japanese just dubbed in german (it's still insanely good)

As a German I always thought the english version of anime opening were pretty bad. Like Dragon Ball or Digimon. You can't put whatever they did to the Digimon opening in the english version next to butterfly. You simply can't. And here in Germany we knew that so we basically tried to translate it or use the orginal music and tone but write our own lyrics that went in the same direction. But we also got the Naruto opening...

@@Li_Mn You usually have to put in more effort to change the lyrics to match the beat and rhymes, otherwise it's very likely to not match, since you know, different languages are different. With English covers, they're pretty common, so there's usually a good translation already floating around that an english singer can use. Same goes for JP.
