The biggest issue I see is that most of EN never finish the MC projects they start and then they end up playing so infrequently that they get intimidated by it and start comparing themselves to the other branches. Fauna has her tree, but doesn't seem to have a clear vision for it and doesn't look at other builds or guides despite being the one to make a bunch of farms, none of her homes are complete either. Kronii had the bunkeronii and now has her castle, but she rarely plays and built it in a place that is making it a lot more work. Mumei, has her treehouse from a guide and her owl but admits to being overwhelmed. Bae, has a couple dirt houses and a creeper farm, her "new" house on the EN server has made no progress. IRyS really seems to lack the drive to build and prefers to just mine. Ame has put in a bunch of work and built a lot but she only really plays in bursts, needing to be particularly inspired to play. Calli refused to play for like an entire year or more but seems a bit more open if it is a collab. Ina can build if she can get herself together on a day she's not exhausted and focus but that has been difficult. Gura, also has flashes of inspiration but is often followed by poor health and overwork. I think they just need guides to follow to build up confidence and actually complete projects and if more people play the others will often want to join in.

some update about calli: after kaelashin provided her materials to build stuff, calli actually enjoys MC nowadays cuz she hated the grind stuff before she even did multiple MC streams this year already, even as solo streams with some sudden short collabs via "open VC" here and there x)

It’s not that they compare themselves to other branches per se, it is who chat often tells them to go to the other servers or use other people’s farms. In a recent Minecraft stream Kiara was trading for emeralds at Phoenixton and someone told her to go to Fauna’s raid farm. Kiara built Phoenixton with her IRL Mom of course it would be a sentimental build for her. Be a bit considerate of her feelings. When chat often puts down your own builds, you are going to lose motivation to build anything or finish anything. It was worse in the early days when chat would ALL CAPS and spam the girls how they were building things wrong AND give conflicting info between Java and Bedrock. Probably one of the reasons why Kiara prefers the adventure part of Minecraft, less complicated, easier to understand, and exciting, but sadly that is going to limit her Minecraft streams to only when there is new content in Minecraft.

i don't think haft of EN even finished a project, & whats funny about calli, the first year and haft, she has built more and finished projects more then ame and gura, which says a lot, now calli is more in to it after a bit of fomo like kiara was, Now she'll join in on events, and speaking of kiara, kiara doesn't even do much anymore on MC cuz she hates building in any game cuz she finds it very boring & boring as a stream, she like the adventure aspects of MC, but since theirs not a lot she can do now, she's just chilling, the best she could do is join MC events like this, or the upcoming Summerfest in MC sometime soon, maybe with calli and the girls, maybe the new girls too then you have council who barely did much aside from the bunker, now its just fauna who is carrying the server with farms and so, & from what i heard, none of the new girls played MC, & if they have, not that much, i know nerissa likes building but everything else idt she cares about, which says a lot about EN lol

@@HadirUntukAnda Moona's situation is pretty interesting, back then she was shy and seemed don't have much confidence in her activities like she didn't know what she is good at or what she was supposed to do in Hololive. But then MC really triggers her creative side, Iofi once said that it is good that Moona finally found something she is really good at, and her PekoMoon episodes cement that MC is not only a simple game for her.

I think Holo EN never make big project, maybe because they are not in the same country and have different timezone, so it's a bit difficult to collab for making event together. It's not like JP or ID with same timezone they are more easy to collab, even ID is more easy to IRL Collab.

its not just cuz of time zones, a lot of it is spontaneous, & a lot of it comes down to interests, as well as EN being busy with other stuff, like for example, calli, kiara even calls her out on it for being too busy, if she wasn't then she wouldn't have to relearn the controls and game everytime she plays it on stream, then you have some of EN, like ame or gura, who are straights up just lazy to build, remember ame's fun house idea or her saying she wants to blow up PPP cuz others had better farms, cuz im still waiting lol

karna branch JP dan ID punya tradisi masing2 utk merayakan lomba di event tertentu. JP basicnya adalah sport fes antar murid sekolah aka undokai yg lumrah bgt di jepang sana. sedangkan ID sudah jelas 17 agustusan makanya keduanya bisa rayain sport fes dgn dasarnya masing2. nah, EN ini yg susah. kendala mereka itu penyebaran tiap member yg ujung2nya berurusan dgn time zone. sama menurutku ditambah budayanya yg blm tentu sama tiap member jadi utk merayakan sport fes tidak ada dasarnya utk merayakan apa (well, alasan ini mungkin terkesan ngasal dan ga logis. tpi menurutku ini bisa jadi pertimbangan). lalu masalah utama: NIAT

en group minecraft stream falls under these categories: 1) fish and zatsudan, 2) adventure, goes around in boat and not building anything, 3) want to build something huge project after seeing other branch's build, but realize it will take time, effort and planning and give it up immediately. I think they just got intimidated by long term project and don't know where to start. And plus they don't like to research thing and plan before hand. Which is understanderable, give most member have a tight schedule doing other more important project. So en group member tend to avoid research heavy or project that require prior planning. Probably need to start with smaller and less ambitious build to build their confidence and understand it;s okay for thing to take time and not everything has to finish immediately. MC stream is effectively a zatsudan stream with activity on the side and some time spontaneous off collab. But some time en folks just dislike minecraft, which is fine.

EN server has to hold a big event. The most important thing is just the concept. For everything about resources, manpower, technical engineers, I'm sure the members of JP and ID will be happy to help if EN feels lacking. Because for events like sports festivals, in the end what we are looking for is the collab moment of Hololive members. And it was very memorable and fun for the members and the viewers.

I disagree. I think EN has the potential to build really amazing stuff and can rival JP and ID. Its just that EN chat during the girls’ early days in Minecraft tended to have some hardcore Minecraft players who spammed the girls on how they were building things wrong. And then there was the conflicting info from chat between Bedrock and Java mechanics that confused and frustrated the girls further. Then when EN and JP servers were connected, the girls were spammed to just farm in JP server and ignore their own builds. That kind of kills any motivation the EN girls would have to continue making their own builds since JP is better according to chat, hence the long Minecraft hiatus after the EN - JP server connect. If EN chat could be a bit more encouraging and turn the building sessions of the EN girls into more relaxed enjoyable chatting streams and stop indirectly comparing them with others by telling them to use this or that farm, perhaps they can be encouraged to start building more. Thank God for Kaela though, her patience for collabing with EN in Minecraft and her understanding of how little their experience is with the game and patiently teaching them, is slowly drawing the girls back, also collabs helps to prevent the girls from reading discouraging comments in chat and helps to keep their motivation up. Can anyone else see why most of EN prefers collabing in Minecraft rather than solo stream? Let’s be real, why play a game where every stream you are called a noob and caveman and this or that person’s build is better than yours?

Bikin event di Minecraft itu sebenernya rumit dan butuh banyak waktu, apalagi kalo banyak mod begini. Dari planning, building, meng-invite/kontak2 member yg mau ikut, dll. Beberapa member HoloID kadang "ngeluh"/curhat kalo mereka punya banyak PR di bulan Agustus, salah satunya karena event Minecraft mereka. Saat membuat venue event nya kadang mereka juga agak malas gimana gitu. Jadi mungkin ini salah satu penyebab kenapa EN ga pernah ngadain event mereka sendiri, selain ga ada pendorong budaya dan time zone yg beda-beda. Mereka tau siapin event Minecraft ribet butuh waktu panjang dan effort besar, apalagi kalo member2nya jarang main Minecraft dan belum terlalu paham Minecraft (kecuali Fauna).

EN is more in individual culturaly while ID is more communal culturaly. Because of this their relation with fans also different, EN between talent with fans is basicaly entertainer and her fans, while in ID between talent with fans is more like community that is why person like Yuba or Arkana exist can exist in ID. Because the different culture is also impacted the member differently, in EN it will be hard to have a leader since every member strong in their own individualist idea, while in ID is more easy as long as they have common purpose/goal or interest because it much more easy for the member to put their ego individualistic aside for greater good of community. They just simply coming from different culture at the first place, one coming from West that emphasized individuality and other from Indonesia that emphasized more family oriented in real life.

Well this is hololive man.. I think EN capable to do some event too, even if they must be helped by any other branch.. See the holomatsuri fest in minecraft, its not only the JP branch who build many games inside the event.. Even many from other branch also participate to build some show/games inside the fest..i think ID branch who expert on minecraft like Moona, Kaela, Olie will gladly to help the EN branch if they ask for some help to held any festivals..

I'm going to disagree with Kiara that EN could never host an EN Holo Cup. I think it's a good group project for EN to do by hosting an EN Holo Cup. I trust Fauna, Ame, and Ina could host an EN Holo Cup because they could come up with great ideas. In Minecraft, they're all excellent builders by experience. The rest of the EN and Holo staffs could help them too.

well, tbh, EN could never hold such a thing because one thing. They have no sense of unity, like they cant find a reason to do such a thing like found a common interest to achieve a single goal because strong individualistic and different cultures. EN members are individualistic. they wont achieve much if they cant change this mentality. it was already proven sometime ago in minecraft when Fauna explaining some things but EN member simply pretend to listen or even dont listen at all. and Fauna already learned her lesson and she no longer care much about it. this mentality is what make EN wont be able to do such a big project like ID and JP. Anya almost never play Maincraft but for the sake of the common interest, she learned it for 4 days before joining the collab. Iofi has motion sickness but for the sake of common interest, force herself to participate, iofi made some small sacrifice here for common interest. for EN, as long as they have this mentality of doing whatever they can for the common interest, they will be able to hold a big project. but if their sense of individualism are still strong, then expect bothing from them.

big problems like timezones and coordination are major factors. ESPECIALLY the latter. notice in nearly every EN collab in minecraft the 'tardwranglers' as i like to call the Leaders, are often having a hard time coordinating and rallying the EN members involved (most famous example is Fauna). not even in Minecraft, take for example the recent Pokemon tournament. that kind of uncoordinated stuff rarely happens in JP and ID since its much, MUCH easier for them to unite and rally under one leader and coordinate together. Unity, Coordination, and Motivation. Sad to say that these 3 crucial factors is kinda lacking in EN.

JP server: Great individual projects, but no coherent theme. Most just stands on a flat plane. ID server: Amazing builds plus thematic consistency. Complete world building. EN server: It pays more attention to theme and terrain than JP, but not as much as ID. But most of all it just has WAY fewer playing hours invested than JP or ID. Really the core to get a server "big" is to have a devoted group of friends that just likes to hang out in MC. EN had it a little while with Myth and then with Council, but it was never as intense as ID and they have fewer members and shorter streams than JP back in the great Kenzetsu days.

I genuinely wonder how much all the cavemEN jokes and constant negative comparison contributes to keeping EN away from minecraft. Like everyone rightfully understands that comparing things like viewers or subscribers is a bad thing to do but somehow nobody ever questions if constantly going "haha look at how stupid and pathetic the ENs are their builds are so worthless and pointless compared to the IDs or JPs" might be a bit of a dick move. Even the idea of them trying to do something is kind of treated like "look the monkey picked up a hammer he thinks he's people"

Frankly, EN are more along the lines of the medieval age considering they had a good number of farms going and had actual structures built. I've noticed that some of the ID fanbase get this inflated and delusional sense of superiority that they can't help but keep demeaning the EN. Doesn't help that alot of clippers keep putting the caveman Spongebob in the thumbnail whenever the subject gets brought up.

The SpongeBob caveman joke is due to the EN girls themselves saying "we're cavemen!" a lot when looking at the ID server. Frankly, if they got hurt by a joke they themselves started, then my god are they sensitive. It's true that of the 3 servers they're the cavemen. They can't use inexperience as an excuse when Moona was so noob in Minecraft that she was made fun of for not even knowing how to make a crafting table. Yes, within a year she went from _that_ to being NPC Moona. EN just isn't that interested in Minecraft, and that's okay. What's not okay is you not seeing that and blaming other people.

The problem with EN branch was, they have no interest, will / intention to achieve a common goal. Their individualistic is too strong attributed to their different timezones and cultures. JP have the same timezone and culture, so they able to achieve a common goal. ID also pretty much in the same timezone and pretty much have same culture in a way so they also able to achieve a common goal. in ID side, Anya rarely play MC, even she practiced for only 4 days before joining the grand opening server to build ID's server landmark in MC. Iofi has motion sickness and cant stand playing MC for too long, but under the same interest to achieve the same goal, they can work together. EN doesnt have this mentality. just remember the matter about Faufau explaining things, other member simply pretend to listen or even dont listen at all. Faufau has reached the point that she doesnt even care anymore. so yeah, EN will never achieve something as long as this kind of mentality with strong individualistic never change.

Let me a bit honest here: so often you only call out their individuality and in several replies (at least indirectly) dismissed the other factors and your comment about pretending to listen (you realize that people could simply forget stuff again after beeing told, especially if it is overwhelming?). It really lets your comment (because basically repeated that much) really look negative and as if putting the EN girls down and blaming them. Basically these traits they have are bad flaws they should change because it is something they shouldnt do/be, aka like beeing lazy or beeing unhealthy etc. There are not just the points of individuality and unity. They are united in their own way, they are simply busy, have partly GREATLY differing timezones and then put on top of it that Minecraft is not a game they love with all their hearts. No one among them (not even Fauna) has the love and time for minecraft to do all ideas she might have. That isnt bad at all, they are simply different with different games and things they like, but all your comments let it look like, that beeing different (in such a way or even in general) is such a bad thing. Despite it beeing just a part of many reasons.

ID can do it, why EN cant? united in their own way? what kinda of way? if they are united, they at least can make their own branch exclusive event that is held annually, it's been 3 years already, HoloIDCup was held 2 years ago, with 'Undokai' as precedent, they only have 6 members, half of them have no interest in MC and now it's held annually. it doesnt have to be maincraft stuff, but they dont have it right? they have more members even but cant sit together to think of what kind of stuff that they can organize together and be held annually, to show it to other branch that 'look, we can also do it'. JP and ID have their own branch exclusive event that is held annually. if even after all of the these precedents, EN doesnt make anything exclusive to them that can be held annually. then there is no need to comment, they simply dont wanna make one, they have no motivation and dont wanna sacrifice their 'busy time' thinking that only they are the busiest branch.

heh, there is no need to beautifying them, each branch have their own flaw, none of them are perfect either. giving them excuses like 'being busy' feels ridiculous, thinking that everyone isnt busy and they are the busiest one.

The problem with the way Hololive did the minecraft servers is that they threw EN to the wolves so to speak by putting them on their own server right off the bat. No one in EN had a lot of experience, if any, with minecraft when they were given their server. Sure, Ina and Ame are good enough gamers to figure it out and learn on their own, but you really need to be taught by someone who really loves the game enough to pass along the passion for it. Like Moona had with Pekora because ID started on the JP server. Moona then passed her passion on to the rest of ID, especially when they got their own server. EN never had anyone who really loved the game enough to inspire anyone else to play a lot. Ame builds solo. Ina is mostly solo when building, except for the Onsen (Cali) and fishing hut (Reine). Gura has the interest but not the attention span or knowledge. Kiara's mom had a lot to teach Kiara, but she would spend those collabs with the zoomies and wouldn't pay attention (kinda like reading). Council had Sana and Kronii who didn't have much experience, but again, were able to figure things out yet mostly built solo. Fauna had, by far, the most experience coming in to the game, but she was a speed runner, not a builder. Finally they started to let everyone visit each other's servers and it's like the EN rednecks showing the big city folk their collection of sheds. Now they are a bit intimidated by all the talent and knowledge in the other branches. What they really need are some folks from the other branches to take their hands and make them do some Minecraft collabs. (the reason I say "make" is because they are going to be too shy to do so on their own and if EN decides what to build, it will be too modest for them to really learn anything. But I would really hate for them to feel forced. I just don't know how to word it better). I think IRyS and Kaela would make a good collab as IRyS likes the mining and they do tend to overlap steam times more often than not. Gura did promise both Moona and Kaela minecraft collabs at some point, but Gura has been crazy busy since then.

While ID like they can do things on their own as long they got the permission since most of their culture related to self-taught so it just matter of time until they mastered the games.. Mostly *imo

ID members were beginners in MC when they started. Heck, Moona didnt even know how to make a crafting table when she first played. Being in the JP server is no help to her because she can't speak nihongo, and it actually isolated her even more because Risu and Iofi can. You can see how awkward she was when the ID trio had their first collab with JP, so she mostly just played on her own. It also didnt help that Risu and Iofi never really liked the game in the beginning for their own reasons. But Moona really liked the game, and it triggered her imagination. That's the most important thing in MC. You need to like it, because you will get bored if you don't.

The only reason the ID girls started in the JP server was because making a server for 3 people (of which 2 weren't that interested at the time) is dumb. The ID server was made a few months after ID Gen 2 debuted. The primary reason Minecraft became a big thing in HoloID is because Moona is an architect... In the game anyway, idk about irl. Her hashtag was "MoonArchitect". She was the main planner for ID, while the other girls just did their assignments or added onto what Moona planned. EN's main planner (imo that's Ame) unfortunately wasn't that into the game like Moona still is.

In that short time, she went from not knowing what a crafting table is to making hidden staircases using redstone, something no one even in JP did at the time. It was the most advanced thing in the JP server when she made it, apart from TTT. She learned everything on her own, no one helped her. Even until now she's still learning the technical side of MC, because she loves stuff like that. But no one in EN has the same drive as her when it comes to the game.

i agree but also disagree with kiara, i honestly do think EN COULD do a big Event like this & ARE ABLE to do this, but, aside from Timezones being an issue & everything being spontaneous like previous MC streams (& introverted lol), the problem is most of ENs interests in MC is not there, members like calli & kiara, & kiara called out calli for it, are just too busy to sit there, build & plan it, especially since it takes calli a month to play MC again so she has to relearn MC every time she does play, even if calli's track record on builds and projects is pretty good on MC, then kiara, she just hates building, she finds it boring as a stream and to herself, maybe if its a collab but even then she won't, she would want something like an adventure to add to it, make it worth a stream, so she's not getting far on that project, ame and gura can barely finish their own projects let alone stay focus to play MC for that long to plan a big event, remember ame's fun house, gura's hunted house, or even ame saying she will blow up PPP cuz their are other & better farms, then with ina, she just burned herself out on MC & she's pretty much done with it, she did everything she wanted, then councilrys only has fauna, aside from bunkeronii, none of them play mc that much, if not, at all, nor has gotten far to do anything big, even the new advent girls don't play MC as much either from what i heard, nerissa likes building in MC but other then that, she doesn't care for the whole game, she's a Terraria girl mostly from what i know

it's a bit out of bound I guess. based on Ollie's statement, big project like sport festival need a careful planning, you need to make proposal and stuff and submit them to the management. and since it's 'EN Branch Official Event', then the actual stuff need to be done by EN member themselves, if not, it'd be self-defeating and no longer an 'EN Exclusive Event'. as for the details, dunno but pretty much 'Branch Exclusive Event' like 'Undokai' in JP server and 'HoloIDCup' in ID server are exclusive event to their branch, planning and stuff were done by themselves.

One simple solutions for EN member that can bring them back to play minecraft again: Allow them to use 'Creative Mode' in their server. (just like Nijisanji EN) So that they can build anything they want so easily and fast without spending much time on grinding the materials.(especially when they has no time or busy) And make it optional for other ID and JP if they want to use Creative mode or not. The thing is.. i dont know if Mane chan would allow them to use creative mode in their minecraft server. 😞

I think they do it just because a lot of fans would be upset about them randomly using creative mode, I guess just because it (maybe) removes a lot of the fun/challenge. NijiEN only started using creative mode because their server got corrupted due to an oopsie; everyone agreed that they got a pass in order to rebuild everything without losing their minds. That said, I think it should ultimately be up to the talents and not necessarily the management, which currently seems to be the case...
