I remember when I was teaching an 8th grade research class, and we read an article in Science World, and a student did a wonderful project on drought prevention using super absorbent polymers. I retired during covid, and out of all the classes I taught, I miss research the most - the class that I spent the most time and effort on, and received the most satisfaction. The students amazed me with their work ethic and how much they grew in one year. Kiara did an outstanding job on her project, I would love to know what field she ended up studying and the difference she will make in this world.
