A beautiful park indeed. How I wish a statue of Wangari Mathai was there. She was our environmental superhero. How about a Dedan Kimathi statue? We have a limitless supply of home grown superheroes. We have to challenge ourselves and take the time to recognize our own heroes because we rarely do it. And my appeal to all Kenyan KZbinrs; please honor president Kibaki while hes still alive. He will go down as the father of ‘broadband internet’. The man who connected Kenya to the rest of the world. Thinking about the rest of the world outside Africa. Do we care? Marvel is a book in USA 🇺🇸 . In other words, this is art. Folks talk about the perspective of how African mythology is used in the rest of the world. African art is critical in your own narrative. My humble opinion salud 🥂

The government should set up waste collection points where you can sort plastic waste, paper waste, tins, glass, food straps and other general waste. I guess by doing so, I think it will help the recycling companies in sorting and handling. This practice should be applied also at individual level in homes, neighbourhood. It is human beings who generates waste and it is us again who pollutes the very ecosystem we are living in.

Yes not the best first impression for people who come from the airport. That was a bit interesting to me when i first entered Kenya. I breathed in the tropical air and suddenly smelled the garbage. Okay i'm not kinda person who feels shocked about such so i said to myself, ok that's the industrial part, the port, etc. It's the same everywhere. I am not shocked, Kenya is Kenya, i love it with all of these. I come from a not too rich country it doesn't make me embarrassed. Sometimes the city planning is funnier though especially when i see an electric substation with direct neighborhood to a residential building, so when you open your window, a huge transformer is in front of you. This video is another example, a wonderful park by a garbage dump...it's not the best solution. Garbage is always a problem no matter where we are. But first impression is very important.
