I think Spankie's bringing back fucked up drag and I'm really living for it. She's really so talented and amazing in so many other parts of the competition that i think that's why we don't care too much. Also, maybe a bit unpopular opinion, but i think it's ok to not have the best runways as long as you're delivering in other parts of the competition, and as long as the "look queens" are also getting recognized for their looks, this isn't a double standard. Because not everyone is a look queen and not everyone has to deliver on that part, so for example, as long as a good runway saves Yuri from the bottom 2 (meaning she's given credit for her talent on the runway) i think it's ok that Spankie's getting a bit of a leeway in her runways. But i don't like it when they runways don't factor in at all (be them really good or really bad), cause that's also a part of the competition

It's because they aren't adjusting the proximity of the mics to their mouths in relation to the volume they're speaking, and they aren't consistently aiming the mics at their mouths. You'll notice around ~35min(?) Gloss turns her head to Art and away from the mic a few times & gets very quiet each time the mic is away from her mouth. This can be difficult to adjust in post. Maybe having a boom or lavalier mics as back-ups (depending on budget), & using the phallic mics more just as visual props, might make it more consistent. 🤔

I don't think Spankie will win but there is always something unique about the New Zealand girls and what they bring. Should've talked to Bev first or let Pomara and Bev sort it out. Funniest Moment: Faux Fur Entrance hat. I kept rewinding it for ages. If the hat didn't malfunction it wouldn't have been memorable. oooh we've got opinions!!! the TOP TIT AWARD for best runway goes to: YURI GUAII - in belts, buckles and chains. the BIG HONKIN SHIT AWARD is a prestigious award, which can only fairly go to a look that was brought TO drag race. its easy to make something shit at drag race, but to BRING IT WITH YOU?? prison. - having prefaced with that, the award goes to: POMARA FIFTH, for her fly girl, insects on the runway. the SHADIEST MOMENT absolutely goes to MINNIE COOPER for not really apologising for the thing she said about Pomara all those years ago, and instead sort of doubling down and resting all the blame on the person who told Pomara. FUNNIEST MOMENT: Minnie Cooper's hurt feelings, that were preceded and followed by her hurting the feelings of others. FAN FAVOURITE/MISS CONGENIALITY: spankie jackzon for both, hands down. the cast seemed to like her the most, she was the kindest to everyone all season, and the fanbase in general seems to be obsessed with her.
