While I've used this type of thing in rock here and there, this is a rampant approach to metal drumming as a whole. And how most metal drummers start playing a double pedal.

I have doing something similar with my kick pedal but I do it differently considering the fact that I play flat footed, so I take my foot and either I kick the pedal down and I bounce it I guess terminology would be, or I’ll run my foot across the pedal and I get the same affect

How do you do a single foot diddle that fast with your toes so far up the pedal? I have always found that i have a lot more speed, and not to mention stamina, when using the mid section of the pedal for fast two note groupings.

Is it better to have your bass pedal loose or tight? I've been trying out a lot of different configurations but I can't seem to find one that works for me.
@cvrlosmolina51107 жыл бұрын
Try sticking to one configuration bro, it's just a matter of time before you solidify it

The tighter the pedal, the more force you need to press it down, the tighter the muscles get, the slower you are. This is just my opinion.
