Is there one you're looking at? Actual unit size was a bit of a surprise but kinda needs to be bigger 😂

@@gettingaroundaus at least a 2000W unit, I have heard of Kickass, but I’ll be doing some research into size and cost of all 2000W inverters.

What size battery for a 3000w inverter that will need to run a machine with a 8.3 amp motor for 4cycles of 30 secs 3 times a week hooked up with a 25amp dcdc charger
@gettingaroundaus10 ай бұрын
Personally I wouldn't use less than 200ah lithium, I'd recommend talking to a auto sparky mate as they would get you the best advice 👍
@chuckcarter78647 ай бұрын
Be careful of the inrush current to the motor on startup which might trip the inverter off.

How much power did it take out of the batteries?
@gettingaroundaus2 жыл бұрын
With a 120w fixed solar panel on the camper plugged in the battery was at 12.6 or 12.7 and when I finished up at 12.3 or 12.4

had many invertors, from Cheap to Top of the line marine Expensive ones. The one I currently use is a Cheap Ebay 6000..peak 12000....$150. had for 12 months now, use everything with it...Even a small mig. Granted mig drains the batts quickly and if not carful flick the switch. But You dont need a Expensive one. Research get the best bang for buck and power ya can. 4 VoltaX 100 ah Lithuims....cant go wrong.

@@gettingaroundaus 120Ah AGMs are only rated for 30amps constant current, so 60amps for both. That gives you roughly 700watts. You're going to shorten the life of those batteries pulling so much more current from them. Worse you could damage the batteries, cause swelling or leaking.
