Dothan Alabama salutes too. Got two skar evl 8”s going in next week. But kicker is still magnificent. I’m 44 and remember in the 90’s kicker was the speakers to have. They are still great but I like bang for the buck though.

I love my enclosure it's 2.75 cubic ft and solid tuned at 30hz. Wish I could put this 15 inside but front baffle is to small. I'm using the 12 inch version. Great review bro!!

After testing many subwoofers, JL audio will always be #1. Kicker #2. Rockford # 3. My opinion. The prices confirm that. W7 will still sell at their price. Kicker will still sell at their price. Rockford Fosgate will still sell at their price. It’s great to have other audio company’s come up because it help the bass community but those 3 will always be top 3 in my opinion. They weathered phoenix gold, precision power, etc. They will weather soundqued, skar, DC audio, etc. Haters can say what it hey want. $400 kickers are still selling.

For me oldschool round solobarics sound the best and i have one s10a and new 12inch soloclassic its not bad but oldschool s10a hits better lower and cleaner, btw jl subs are very good but they sound a bit soft in my opinion its nice to hear that someone likes jl kicker g rockford and not saying this is junk this is better and respects al three companies🙌 respect

Rockford is falling off in the sub game, and it's showing on their Facebook pages, believe me. They haven't released anything new in like 15 years. Their only focus is on power sports, no recone options. Kicker is the only one of the 3 that has a chance since they dropped the new solo x and the new warhorse line. JL builds are practically nowhere at shows anymore.

Typically motor weight or size does matter. I agree that some subs have smaller size motor compared to other subs of the same wattage mainly due to upgrade in coil or supercharger but if the weight or size of the motor did not matter then audio companies wouldn't have bigger motor subs. The higher the level of subwoofer, the bigger the motor, the more excursion, the more power handling. Just like the w7 has a bigger motor than the w6. The w7 is better
