What king of speaker connector you used?I'm using 8 gauge speaker wire and all the terminal I got is to bulky to fit

I still can't figure this amps settings out...I have never had trouble getting an amp adjusted the way I have with this one. It almost doesn't seem to have enough power. I have 2 Memphis 15's 900rms each and the ampnis 1915rms watts certified, 0 gauge wire, bigger alternator, and 2 batteries. Anybody weigh in please...

High input is when you are using speaker level input. Low level input is when you are using rca connections .

Es mejor si tienes el de 1200 watts, este la verdad si esta mucho mas fuerte, suponiendo que tienes buena batería, alternador y the big 3 upgrade, yo lo tengo conectado a un par de 12 inch L7 y las mueve macizó!!

Depends on single / dual voice coil and ohms rating. But you really couldn't do it because the 12 can handle more power than the 8 inch.

It can get them going but you'd probably want more power ( match total RMS rated) . You wouldn't want the amp to be struggling to get the kind of output that those speakers are capable of.

Amazon has a deal with two L7S 15” no box and this amp for $882. I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it. Seems like the amp is too small for the 1000rms each sub

Ok so I have a problem can someone help? I have two kicker comp Qs 12s not (L7) and I can’t seem to find the perfect amp for them..1st i started with a soundgital 2000.1 Evo they hit so hard I was happy but then my subbs started to kind of smell like burn so I took it off then I put a Rockfordfosgate T-1500dbcp it hits ok not as the soundigital..I paid $550 for the sound and $700 for the Rockford..I wonder if this kicker 1800.1 good for my subs? Anyone?

The Rockford Fosgate amp is probably the best out of what you mentioned. Your wiring or adjustment of the settings might be off. You can find articles, videos, and diagrams on crutchfield.com

other people normally need to Upgrade, but you need to Downgrade ? hahaha need to set the gain properly just fine, I run Taramps bass 3k 3000wrms on single JBL Stadium 1224 only rated 500wrms haha my sub kick hard but no issue of it, always On subsonic filter or set it dont below 25hz

I don't remember what the # spec is but there is a a set subsonic filter built-in. I wouldn't have gotten it if it didn't. I have to be "dialed in" right for the FI IB3 v2 15"

Hello, you can force the wire in , I bought the stinger 1/0 awg and they fit BUT if you are going to use a ferrule , won’t fit

I wasn't aware that kicker ever made an 18 inch subwoofer. If I had two 18s I would probably look for a 5k momo amp.

Anyone try wiring half ohm loads to this amp? I have two subs wired at 1 ohm each to this amp, been thinking about wiring it to .5 ohm but I wanna see if anyone else has done it yet. Doesn’t say it’s stable but why not try

1 ohm is all you should wire this amp at. It plainly states on the box it is 1800rms at 2 and 1 ohm both. All you're gonna get is whatever Kicker says it was certified at. Stop wiring amps at lower ohm loads when it doesn't do anything for performance and only heats your amp up and shortens its overall ability.

@@BigJ3RD agreed! I have this same amp and am pushing 2 M6 15's. It does a great job. I do have 2 batteries but my mistake is that I am only using 0 gauge wire and it is recommended to use 1/0. I may have to change that out but it never goes below 12.5 on any song

Not a true 1/0 gauge amp and the speaker wire inputs are small. Smh prepare to spend extra money for reducers and wire spades if you run 8 gauge speaker wire.
