Kicker - Dennis Enarson - Haro BMX

Every BMXer remembers their first launch ramp. Seeing how many friends they could jump, how far they could jump and how high. That love for a good kicker will never die. And with travel and events being at an all time low the last year or so, it seemed like a great time to simplify things and take it back to the beginning. So we built kicker and cruised the streets of San Diego with Dennis Enarson for a couple sessions and here is what came of it. Enjoy.

@@matthoover111 True, but imagine how stupid he'd look if he hit his head, went back and hit his head again on the same thing despite having a helmet with him. He'd feel stupid himself I'm sure! At least, I would personally. I have just as much respect for a trick down with a helmet as without, so from a viewer's standpoint, it doesn't matter at all if they have a helmet or not, it's all about the riding. Dennis is an absolute beast, LOVE watching him ride anything.

Thanks for putting on the helmet after you smacked your head. I don't want to be "that guy" and tell professionals what to do but I don't want to see another person end up like Scottie Cranmer (who was wearing a helmet) or worse, like Dave Mirra, but smacking the back of your head is especially dangerous so it's good to see professionals taking their safety into consideration over style and comfort.

Yeah when a spot sends my head at the wall or anything immovable a time or 2, I stop riding it. A mild helmet might work though

@Chris Couldn't agree more about the concept of promoting wearing helmets when riding. Truth be told, free world and riders can do anything they want, but I personally find I appreciate seeing riders wearing padding and especially helmets.

Dennis is an amazing rider and one of the OG's in the sport. I'm super excited to see Haro back on top of the game as well as I remember themselves, GT, Redline, Mongoose, Skyway, Hutch, etc being the shit back in the 80's when I started racing BMX. It wasn't until the 2000's when I picked a bike back up in my middle 20's that I knew anything about street and park riding and that was after a friend showed me. I fell back in love with BMX but stopped again after breaking my neck. I recently want back in but unfortunately sold my bike to pay bills long ago and haven't gotten another.
