As somebody already stated,the original door speakers in an Astra are pretty good anyway. Was there a huge improvement in sound with the replacement k60's?

sorry you message only just flagged up, no idea why! They were ok to start but recently the passenger side has started to fuzz, i put these in as was going to drop a sub or two in and wanted the treble to counter but at present im using the rear door speakers for the base and the fronts for treble, hope that helps i wouldn't replace with k60 without having a source of lows. again sorry for the long delay!

Hi there, I have an astra cabrio bertone and I have already changed the front speakers and it went just great, but I can't replace the rear ones. I've tried to force a little bit the interior panels so I can gain access to the speakes but I think there are some screws, and I don't know where they are or how can I get them out... Please help! thank you

Right i have never done one, but a 3 door version you must remove the lower part of the rear bench (the cusion) pull the rubber weather strip that runs done the door frame away and there will be clips holding the front in, i would imagine there would be more of these little white clips, they can hold very tight, normally you will see any screws or bolts. hope that helps even a little!

Wait how did you buy pass the crossover since there coaxial speakers?

the x over is a small resistor on the rear of the stock speaker, so no need to dissable!
