In a relational schema, perhaps a tip is a thing that has as foreign keys registered-user and emacs-project. The logical relation then is many to many or registered-users emacs-projects. The relation between r-u and e-p can also be `developer`, and another entry would be `consumer`. Why these entries are orthogonal is because you could actually be a developer or a tip provider of one or more projects and not actually use them yourself, or be any other combination of those (a tip provider but not a developer, etc.). These many to many relations can be separate tables (development, usage, tips) or be in one big table relating people to projects with one field saying what type of relation it is. Granted that though this may be a more properly normalized way to do it (many to many relations in order to remove duplication), it is definitely not the quick and dirty way to do it.

Great stream! regarding the sxml->string function, the manual says that it will detag the xml tree and will not do any formatting, so I think its acting as expected, I ran into that exact problem before and I think the function should be renamed
