Part (4 of 4) Coming Fri, 6/24 at 1pm! Be sure to read description! Thank you so much for watching! Did you dig the “Kid A Sound” upon first listen as a Radiohead fan? Or did you take awhile to warm up to it…

Loved it first listen, my favorite radiohead album. Can't wait to see you react to the closing track "Motion Picture Soundtrack" I cried the first time I heard it. I recommend making a reaction video to Jeff Buckley's album "Grace" if you haven't heard it already, it's the album that heavily inspired radiohead's sound the Bends and forward. Such a masterpiece of an album. It's the only album from Jeff Buckley aswell as he died afterwards. Also I recommend Lana Del Rey's Album "Honeymoon" its my personal favorite album of all time. Think how to dissappear completely but without the electronic sound and more of the real instruments-ish.

No - couldnt take it at all the year it came out, I had loved Radiohead because of The Bends: Three Guitars !!! Enjoyed OKC but then Kid A was like a brick wall. Love it now of course

@@cgallagher4501 I always saw Kid A as a Bends part 2. To me it had the same exact atmosphere just with the sound being electronic instead of analog ofc. And the bends was my favorite radiohead album at the time. I was let down with Ok Computer though and still am. I feel only half the albums tracks are worthwhile

Loved it from the first, however, as much as I love rh and this album, I almost always skip over treefingers..I wouldn't mind it being played at my funeral though lol

This album continues to blow my mind. How to Disappear Completely, Idioteque, Optimistic, National Anthem... I'd count multiple songs on this album among some of the objectively best songs of all time. It took me 3 tries to get into Radiohead but when I finally "got it" last year I've never looked back. The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, and In Rainbows all get perfect album scores from me.

you better be doing Amnesiac after this, just for your own full experience of perfection

Optimistic and In Limbo are always meant to be played back to back imo, I'm pretty sure they were one long track split into 2, hence why the transition between both is so smooth. Both tracks are underrated imo

Optimistic, man.. Don't you love how they build those layers! Great reaction, cool to see you get into "idiotheque" too, that was one where in my first listen many moons ago I was like wtf.. Now, it's one of my favorites. Love this album. Don't forget their "The Daily Mail (from the basement)" when you have a few minutes. I know I keep going on about it, but you'll see why.

Optimistic should have been a single. No singles on this album, but that one's a banger that should have seen radio play.

Honestly, kinda wish you didn't stop after each track. This album lives from its flow and the song transitions. (Although I do give you credit for noticing it anyway)

I think this can be partially resolved by "starting" each song from the last 20 seconds of the previous song. Compromise?

@@alexmw14 Each song has an individual audio track that’s being matched onto my hand cue in the video to have it begin playing in post editing.

This album is actually a bit like a drug for me. I don't listen to it that much anymore (couple of times a year) but when I do - I listen to the entire thing with my full attention. Radiohead music is not for every occasion, nor is it very "social" music... but when you put it on it demands attention. It's almost like a psychedelic experience if you fully give yourself over to the world the album creates.

I was a bit disappointed that you cut this video with idioteque bc it has such a smooth transition to the next track - morning bell. I am still happy you uploaded the whole thing to KZbin. Recommendation for your next album: tranquility hotel + casino - arctic monkeys. It's more of a lyrically focused album and both of us hear music through the feel of the song. It still has a cool jazzy sound that didn't emerge from the rock group until this album.

I discovered KZbin was blocking my videos that had more than 3 audio tracks within it so I was trying to end up with the least amount of “Parts” to the whole shabang. But I agree! Listening to the album afterward, it flows gorgeously together…
