I enjoyed this movie as a kid. A lot of movies I enjoyed as a kid haven’t stood the test of time. The reason why you never found much production info about it was that it was a HBO production. It wasn’t really a big Hollywood production.

This is a movie I watched as a kid on HBO in the 80's. Didnt know the name of the film and in the early days of the internet would ask about it in chat rooms with what I could recall about the movie, nobody could help. About 5 years ago I finally found a Reddit post about the film, bought it on DVD and watched it. It was indeed the movie I watched but as a kid I remember being terrified for the well being of Justin, watching it as a 44 year old I have to laugh at how corny the movie is. Still was so happy to find and rewatch it. It was always in the back of my head and would drive me crazy trying to remember the name.

I loved this movie as a young teen. It was like an Indiana Jones adventure for kids. It would be funny to do a review on Kathy's Curse. I'm writing a screenplay remake of that old nut at present.
