Kid Control feature on Mikrotik
MikroTik developed a new feature which was also introduced in v6.41, but its function could run on version 6.42. This feature is 'Kid Control'. Then the function of this feature is like what, indirectly we can already guess it from the naming of its own features.
With the development of existing technology, especially mobile information devices, it cannot be separated from the need for connectivity to the internet network. And users are already from the general public. Even children today are no stranger to the internet, either for school / study or just for entertainment.
As a preventive measure or more control over internet usage especially children users, we can use the 'Kid Control' feature in MikroTik. The 'Kid Control' feature in terms of its functions is more about setting the time, namely when to access the internet and when the internet connection is disabled. Alternatively, we can actually make firewall filter settings and combine it with Script + Scheduler. But with the 'Kid Control' feature, this configuration becomes easier.
