*Warning life threatening talk* He saved mine on the day this released I was about to end my life but I got a notification and it was Cudder and I got exited because everyone thought he was coming back in 2021. I've always been a fan, since I was 8 (I'm 15 now). The first time I had suicidal thoughts was when I was 6. I had a knife in my hand but my neighbors where blasting Cudi, I was zoned out but somehow I was able to listen to the Cudi's lyrics. He saved my life that night, and every time I've ever had a suicidal thought he's always been in clutch, he's always been there for me for all of us. We don't deserve this man, but I'm greatful we have him. (I found out who he was two years later because of my brother playing his music around the house)

LYRICS 🥀🖤🥀 Mm-mm, yeah Mm-mm In the dead of the night I have these dreams What'll happen to me? Will I burn out? Have I been wrong? What does it mean? All these things, can't understand why? Say something's wrong with me and I'm By myself alone driving, I go Full moon as it glows, I search for truth Tryna be brand new, yeah, I will try No, I won't do but through these screams Fighting and bleed, blood in my eye And I'll be another broken soul God save me Yeah, baby, I see you're back in my zone Just what I need, mama (Yeah) Nigga, been in hell, the same road On a mission and I'm gonna fly high (High) This for the sad people who keep the blunt burning in me And we up on a journey, learning Close call, life on the edge High, when the time comes, I'll find peace It's in the search of nights, I'm sittin' wishin' I can find love in me Lettin' go, uhh, this ain't living I swim in pain Never drown, keep my head up, above the waves (Get it, get it) I ain't runnin', I won't run from fate Late night, uhh, this is when I come alive, when the juice mane Take me, uhh, just don't leave me Come on, woah (Don't say goodnight) Scars on my arm, woah (Ahh, ahh, ahh) Yeah, baby, I see you're back in my zone Just what I need, mama (Yeah) Nigga, been in hell, the same road On a mission and I'm gonna fly high (Hey) This for the sad people who keep the blunt burning And we up on a journey, learning

@protozoanpro3 жыл бұрын
I lost my grandpa to cancer, my aunt to a meth/cocaine/alcohol overdose, a friend to suicide, another friend to fentanyl overdose and my dog to old age all within 3 weeks of one another this past summer. It may sound cartoonish and that’s what I was thinking every time I was told someone else passed. How could I go back to normality when so much bad had happened. Cudi has been such a staple in my life since I was 12 and I thank God for his music, because the truth is it saved my life more than once. I’ve struggled myself with alcohol abuse. This song specifically is what brings me back from the darkest places my mind goes. Call me sappy, call me fake, call me an attention seeker; I don’t care. If you’re every going through anything, play this man’s music. Don’t just listen, hear it. Soak it up. His lyrical genius is a lot deeper than he gets credit for.

Yall this has to be one of the best most uplifting songs ever created. Like I can't help but just jam tf out when I play this. If you see this just know you are important. God has sent you on a mission and you have a purpose. Kid Cudi you are a legend thank you for being you! Still here in 2022 and will be here til I'm gone!

My son has been going through chemotherapy for 4 months, he’s doing well and in remission, but everyday the balance of emotions I live with, wouldn’t wish on anybody. This Sad People hits my soul in the most beautiful way. I can’t stop listening to it.

Cudi was healing people from COVID-19 before they even found the vaccine. That era was filled with depression, mourning, and so much loss. Thank you Cudi!!! ❤🙏🏽🔥💯

Just wanted to recognize this song. It’s such a beautiful song with meaningful lyrics. I feel like it’s Cudi being self-aware of all those he has helped throughout his career and this song was centered upon that healing.
