Man, I literally cannot listen to this song without crying my eyes out, literally pours the emotion out of me. I rarely cry to music, but Cudi somehow manages to be so incredibly powerful and relatable to people like me, he might be hated or he might never get the recognition he deserves, but none of that matters to me, Scott is my hero and he helped me through the most difficult and lonely times of my life.

The solution to the paradox of unhappiness is increased servitude towards others + gratitude. Even if you have to make something up. Feeling gratitude as an emotion metaphysically creates things to be greatful for in order to reflect the power of that specific emotion. This is how Christianity was intended to work but many have lost the plot.

Used to cry to this song...my life fell apart when i lost my mom i was 14 ...lost her when i needed her the most...my dad was in and out of prison/jail ...my mom was the glue of the family. Aunts and uncle stopped coming by. I hated the world and took my stress out on the world .

Ooof I’m sad and in my sad cudi phase this man speaks nothing short of greatness. Saved my life more than once I’ll forever be in debt to kid cudi. I know several that have met him in person, according to them he’s super down to earth and an amazing human in person behind the music. Truly an icon and role model for anyone coming from behind the curve in terms of opportunity.

I was in middle school when this song came out. And it still hits just as hard. It's like Scott told his future. He opened up about his depression in a song without people actually realizing.
