They actually do sometimes let kids into cockpits. I am interested in aviation and before, my mom asked flight attendants, and they communicated with the pilots. I got to see the cockpit of a few planes after landing. I was a kid. It was in big cities too like Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. It is probably not for adults though. I was 12 at the time and tsa considers people aged 13+ as threats. I am not 12 anymore and it probably will never happen again.
