I kind of had the same experience in school So basically we were playing bulldog and one team was running and the other was throwing balls. So when the other team was running along I had a ball threw it and hit someone's head. Then as it bounced off his head I grabbed it with one hand then 360ed around and hit another guy. Finally the last person was running and he was running perpendicular to me so I timed it perfectly and then I hit him in the knee Like if you thought my mini story was mildly cool

Okay so what y'all do is. Get some bowling pins and set them on the basketball line under each hoops at three points(middle and both corners). Then call the game pin ball or pin defenders or something and claim the goal is to hit the pins and the people (defenders) that get hit protecting them are out. Atleast thats how my school got around it and when someone came in we under hand threw and rolled the ball but we basically played dodgeball with extra rules
