As if I just watched my past! My boys are all grown up and on their own but this is exactly how I used to organize their rooms! Apart from the pink color 😊ikea stuff is my all time favorite, a life saver. So glad to see kon marie method also! I was thinking the same thing, but was hesitant to write... I have been watching a lot of home organization videos lately and barring few exceptions, I find that most of them hoard too much.. Be it clothes, items in the pantry/fridge, stationery, anything... It doesn't matter if you donate it later..... Hoarding itself is so problematic... It's one thing to provide your loved ones with what they want, and it is a totally different thing when you buy the same article multiple times which leads to hoarding... That aside, the interior is really nice...

Hi ! I understand, you totally have all the right to put forward your view. I never had these things when I was a child. I sometime feel, it’s a millennial thing, most of us have a single child and want to do a lot for them. But with due respect ma’am. I don’t think, that means spoiling a kid. Discipline has its own place. Also, most importantly, everyone has a certain way of living life. Some like to live with less, and are very contented in that, while some are the opposite. And I respect the prior, I have no problem, with anyone living the way they want. And I would expect the same from others too. No offense here. Thanks for watching. 🙂

I love the way kaya's room looks all the colours and furniture. Why does the top drawer of that IKEA chest of drawer have knobs and the others have handles..

This IKEA chest of drawer was plain, it had no handles. I got the handles separately and got it fitted to make it look nicer. And I ran out of cup handles so, had to put the knob instead. 😀

Happy new year, happy pongal and a happy republic day to you and your family. Fabulous organisation and interiors of a beautiful room. Organising after shifting to a new house is time-consuming and exciting as well. As my daughter has changed jobs, we shifted to a different city and that too to a 50 year old flat in one of the colder areas of that city. So settling down is still in progress. Regarding the bittergourd and brinjal sabji, does it taste bitter after the cooking by adding the required masala or do you follow some method to remove the bitterness

Hi ! All the best with the new place. Yes, the bittergourd sabji is bitter, however, we grew up eating it plaininsh, that way, so we like it. Not sure, if it would suit the taste buds of the rest. 😀
