I don’t completely agree, because the dad is going to work to bring the necessary dollar in the home. It does show the dad picking up children and intervening when home. Unfortunately, the mothers don’t seem to be organised and strong enough to manage the children while the dad is at work 70% of the time. Some families do role reversals, but either way, someone has to go to work.

Why does the mother behave like she’s in prison - she claims she can’t go outside (with that beautiful yard?!) and never takes the kids out anywhere, which is so weird. The kids are reacting to parents that are completely checked out. The parents also speak in the strangest monotone, which suggest extreme depression and likely other mental health issues. The mother’s constant referencing to “breaking” is not positive, and her ridiculous idea that kids should just “behave” like she did points to major issues with her own mental health.
