Divine Weapons such as the Blade of Olympus ignore immortality and so do physical attacks from a god. That's the case for most fictional works having gods fight.

It's fiction. The Volundr essentially allows them to kill gods. This isn't the mythological completely accurate like Percy Jackson, this is a Japanese anime. There wouldn't be any stakes if the humans could die, while all the gods would get is just a trip to the hospital.

Most of the non greek gods are weaker however. Egyptian gods for example as powerfull as they are are not actually immortal, they will all return to "nothingness" at one point if the balance of the world is disturbed. Zoroastrianism is partially Pre-Christian with comparison possible with greek gods. Celtic religion isnt nearly as develloped. Aztec and others either. It doesnt leave that many well develloped and might myths for gods
