Well technically since the same guy worked on both franchises...it is very likely that both characters exist in the same universe. Sure, until Hideki Kamiya says so we can't take it as canon...but we can't rule out the possibility they cohexist either.

Most likely the same outcome, Dante would just shrug off most of Bayonetta's blows until he hits her with a fetal blow that she couldn't dodge. Healing factors are absolutely broken when paired with incredible combat capabilities like Dante.

This is STILL one of the best Death Battles ever and probably my personal favorite Fun Fact(s): A) One detail they got wrong, while Umbra Witches have Witch Time to slow down time, Lumen Sages literally have Light Speed which, as the name suggests, lets them temporarily move at the speed of light, making Bayo being able to dodge those bullets and keep up with The Masked Lumen that much more impressive B) After DMC 5 and Bayonetta 3 , the verdict really hasn't changed. Dante still absolutely *washes* her in every category except reaction time and *maybe* strength.

This is one of the few times I don't feel either characters or setting were forced even a bit for this. It's entirely normal for Dante to do something very stupid in the first act (his entire stated reason for being there was that he needed Bayonetta - alive - and didn't realize it) because the narratives of his series guarantee he'll find some way to fix it by the end: he's now stuck figuring out how to bring her back to life and presumably shall. It's entirely normal for Bayonetta to not overthink her reactions because a lot of her own series involves massive amounts of preparation over a very long term to ensure that in the present day whatever she feels like doing will turn out to have been a correct choice. She assumes something will turn up to stop her from making a mistake she can't fix: something did.

@@Sold1er_Boy I have that and I played it and I still disagree. If Dante needed that much power to scale to Urizen (who can be defeated in the prologue by base Nero by the way) I don't see how that can compare to Bayonetta who can stand toe to toe with Rodin who ruled over and was feared in not one but two infinite dimensions outside of regular multiverse rules. Dante is amazing and one of my favorite video game characters but he isn't invincible. Also Sin Devil Trigger debuted in DMC2, it's made way better in DMC5 in my opinion and is very powerful but despite Nico's report saying there's no telling how much power it has, it does have a limit which I can see Bayonetta exploiting.

@@calebgoodman3028 Firstly Nero lost against Urizen and Dante came in and saved him i don't know what game you played secondly Dante didn't just become equal to Urizen he became far stronger and that's why he defeated him with ease even though he also ate the fruit for extra power, besides that Dante right now has inside him the power of the rebellion and the sparda since he absorbed both alongside his already immense power so bayonetta literally has no way of killing him because like i said before his now basically a demon god his stronger than mundus which is basically the devil himself the prince of darkness so a way stronger character than Rodin.

There is actually 1 mistake about Dante's weapons, he ends off Demons with Ebony & Ivory when health is depleted in the battle but it is just using weapons to end off Demons when health is depleted so no, the guns dont have the power kill Demons with a single shot.
