When Gojo said "Nah, I'd win" in response to Yuji asking him if he could beat Sukuna, Gojo was referring to his students. He meant that his students, whom he taught, will eventually defeat Sukuna, which would lead to victory for Gojo.

@@zy1an I believe it does. Take Rengoku’s death in Demon Slayer for example. Although he “lost” against Akaza, he still “won” in everyone’s mind because he achieved his own personal goal (saving and protecting everyone there). Gojo had the same mindset. When he says, “I’d win”, he most likely meant this in both ways, that he’d win the fight, and he’d “win” by his own standards, which is creating a new generation of strong sorcerers. Although he didn’t win the fight, he did win by achieving his own personal goal.

ngl, that explanation to this day of how he bypassed infinity makes even less sense hearing it again, gege was really breaking all the rules of his power system to make this fight happen and boy it definitely showed afterwards that it was a terrible idea. OH and just to add, when did gojo's domain act as a spidey sense? this is the same excuse gege used for the later finger incident, it does NOT matter if something isn't meaning to harm him and just meaning to go pass him. That excuse does not work when we know Gojo actively makes his domain block attacks especially after the toji incident. Does infinity really take an attack that will harm gojo as not harmful becuz it's meant to go past him... The mahoraga explanation for bypassing infinity has to be one of the worst plot armor ever made for the series. We're not even gonna mention the "holding back" BS that was said at the end when it's very clear there was 0 holding back. Mans was getting folded without mahoraga to being folded with him and then magically off screen (becuz it would not make sense on screen). Bam just dead... lmao my god peak writing

Bro why are you calling infinity his domain? Plus his explanation is a terrible explanation because he said infinity is like spider sense. The reason why mahoraga bypassed infinity is because he adapted to it and attacked space itself which is why the building also got cut when gojo was attacked. Lastly, for the "off screen magic" it was already explained that Sukuna made a binding vow to activate WS instantly and anytime he wants to use it after that he has do his 3 chants, domain sign, and point to where the slash is going.

I agree it was fair and square. Sukuna being smart and taking down Gojo efficiently so he can still be strong enough to handle all the other fights was him being smart. I think most people understand this they just don’t like that Gojo died.
