Crazy thing about that first story is that the influencer ended up marrying somebody else about five or six months after her husband died and she also low Key profiting off her husband's death with her TikTok videos.

Channels like MrBallen have made me a little more cautious and little less sponaneous in my everyday life. But in a reasonable way, not an over the top and paranoid way. Small stuff, like avoiding the trap of being careless just because I'm in a rush. And overall, I've found myself adopting a more measured approach to my daily adventures. I haven't entirely lost my spontaneity, I've just become more attuned to the importance of risk assessment, being prepared and staying aware of my surroundings.

This is my second time i think hearing stories from Mr.Ballen and their def crazy...I think its weird that the manager didn't think to check after like 30 mins or an hr tho unless they forgot they even gave the key away or was just so focused in on what they were doing

Don't do the cinnamon challenge, it can easily cause pneumonia or a collapsed lung and you might very well die or get some type of health problems for life.

You guys need to react to Nick Crowley reacting to the first story; it's one of his darkest videos comps, #4, & even though it's also one of multiple like MrB's video, it's even more detailed. Story #2: No, Kidd, she didn't come in from the pool; she was asleep, naked 'cause that's how she was comfortable sleeping, & she got up to go to the bathroom & like Cee said, she was groggy & was kind of on autopilot (it was also pitch black) so it didn't matter that she owned the bungalow, she still managed to get lost, in a way. And I know she was supposed to be athletic but unless she was a body builder who never skipped leg day, chances are she wouldn't have been able to kick the door open. Story #3: I guess it tends to be pretty rare that something like that happens, but I think there definitely should be an emergency shut-off button or exit in those things! Also, he was LEGALLY blind, NOT color blind, so his phone pretty much was in a way his life line; as someone who's also disabled, I freak out when my kitten knocks my phone off the bedside table & it lands on the carpet.

The other thing that makes dry ice dangerous (and also, NOT dangerous in some cases) is that the carbon dioxide it turn into, is HEAVIER than oxygen and sinks. So in cases like, for movies and shit it's fine b/c it's gonna be all on the ground, far below where the actors are (and ofc that's on top of being used in small quantities and i with good ventilation). The amount used in drinks is such a tiny amount it won't hurt you unless you straight up inhale it all. And even tho, you're generally in a large, open room, so you have plenty of actual air to breathe.

For the 2nd story my main confusion is how did she know exactly where the toilet was in the dark, she seemed pretty familiar with her environment then. Also while in the closet she knew the exact wall to break through to get into her room while in the closed dark closet, but somehow couldn't remember where her room was right off the toilet?

The second one is sooooo shady, there's no way that so many bad coincidences happen once. Like what kind of bad luck do you have for all of these things to happen, If Mr. Ballen said that the whole bungalow was out to kill her it would have been more believable 😭

It's actually not that shady at all. It was at night, she was all alone in that bungalow, she was tired from the swimming and woke up to go to the bathroom in the dark, she was in an unfamiliar place and accidentally walked through the wrong door, she bumped into the shelves and when she recoiled she shut the door behind her with her own body, the door handle on the inside has never been used in all those years and was therefore never properly maintained, it broke off when she tried it for the first time in a very long time, she tried everything to break down the walls but couldn't see that she was just hitting against the back of a painting, the neighbors thought the hitting sounds were construction noises and set an unfortunate deadline for them to act upon it, she died from exhaustion and hypothermia. A chain of bad coincidences like this are the bread and butter of most of the Mr. Ballen stories and the cause for many crazy and unfortunate accidents. Or even the other way around and a chain of good coincidences are the cause for miraculous survivor stories of people that everyone thought should be dead (see the German paragliding lady story for a good example). Mr. Ballen features both types.
