The "now I've seen everything" fish and the "why did you hit me in the head leopold" guy are based off an actor of the time named Peter Lorre. He was known for big soulful eyes and that long drawn out way of speaking. He was in 'Casablanca', 'The Man Who Knew Too Much' and 'Maltese Falcon'.

Fun fact: The "turn out those lights" scene is actually a reference to World War 2 as the cartoon "A Tale of Two Kitties" was made during the war, it basically means everyone had to switch off all their lights in their house during an air raid to avoid being bombed.

There's a fair amount of clips in this compilation that were banned by the era of Cartoon Network due to racist depiction. The scenes we remember from CN are classic episodes that can still be bought on DVD but due to the age of the dark humor they don't air it on TV anymore.

But..the cartoons soon csme into syndication and hundreds of local stations ran them in the early mornings and late afternoon when schools let out. My dad and I would watch Looney Tunes with "The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show" on iTV (now Global Edmonton) when I was a kid back in the 90's, though unfortunately a bunch of those cartoons were highly edited unless you got them on home video (ala VHS, BetaMax, 8mm Film, etc.). These day's you can get them through streaming or DVD and Blu Ray. My favorite Bugs Bunny cartoon is "Bunny Hugged" were Bugs wrestles against the ridiculously buffed wrestler "The Crusher".

Tweety done by Mel Blanc, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky pig are top favorites. On that clothing disguise question, Bugs Bunny is often the one disguising as an attractive woman to fool those after him. From Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, to one off antagonists in cartoons. Some of the disguises based off of real women in notable for the time outfits one of the Elmer Fudd hunts I can’t remember who exactly as it had to be someone specific. To things like a female hunter, female robot, an arctic native woman, Napoleon’s first wife Josephine, female Tasmanian devil, a southern belle, a Valkyrie in the opera with Elmer Fudd, a temptress in Rabbit of Séville are ones I remember of Bugs Bunny female disguises. But that cartoon was to have Fudd chased by anthropomorphic wolves as part of a plan of turning his dream into a horrible nightmare. That way he would go back to hunting Bugs.
