WOW 😢, this story from Mr. Ballen, was very sad but James sacrificed his life to save his family, I'm glad his Wife and kids survived and recovered, his foot prints 👣 helped saved the life of his Family, maybe he could have turned back after traveling some miles and they could have found all of them together but it's too late to know if that would work or not, WOW Superhuman, Rest In Peace To James🙏🏾👍🏾.

Well, if he had stayed with his vehicle along with his family, it's extremely unlikely they would've gotten rescued. The pilot found them by following his foot prints, after all.
