You can eat catfish lol. A catfish's main diet is other fish, and whatever potential contaminants they may consume is concentrated in their liver, stomach and intestines (the parts we don't eat). The muscle is free of any of these. It's also a fatty white fish that's low in calories and low in mercury so it's a pretty healthy fish to eat.
