Also people seem to have forgotten he has done the exact same thing to her twice, the first time in season 7 being far worse than what Stella did this season, and the second time for no good reason. At least Stella immediately acknowledged what she did wrong. The writers could have handled this better it was totally out of character for Stella.

Of course she deserved a second chance, especially after all the stuff Kelly has done that people conveniently forget. In season 7 he pushed her away, was angry, rude jealous, possesive and self-destructive, with her past history of abuse that behavior would really scare her too, way worse than just not texting for a couple weeks. She was still there for him back then though just like she always has been even when they weren't together. Let's face it, If it weren't for Shay and Stella, Kelly would have been fired or even in prison, several times over.

At least Kelly told Seager he wasn’t interested which Stella couldn’t/wouldn’t do. She chose to believe that Kelly was jealous instead of realizing that Tyler was using their friendship to try to get in her pants.

Tyler was to Stella like April was to Kelly, except Stella never slept with Tyler like Kelly did with April, and Stella never stopped Kelly from hanging out with April or working with Renee or Seager, even though she knew the last two were trying to steal him. and Stella did cut Tyler from her life completely for Kelly and admitted she was wrong. Her jealousy is also understandable given Kelly's womanizing history.

@UClMHy64m-TKV51vNKe7LPQg I meant after their initial meeting when Stella wanted the three of them to spend time together, he just refused without even trying, without understanding that this person was to her what April was to him except without any romantic feelings on Stella's part, that annoyed me because the episode right before that Stella was inviting April to the CFD bbq, supporting Kelly spending time with her. Stella's abusive ex husband was also jealous and possessive and Kelly knew this, so he should have been more sensitive to that. Because while I think Kelly finds it funny or even an ego boost when Stella is jealous, for Stella it's really traumatic when the men in her life get jealous, and even after pointing that out to him he still continued that behavior that scares her. Him spending time with Tyler was important to her but he didn't even try, he should have fought his jealousy and trusted her the way she fought her jealousy to trust him with April, Renee and Seager.

Rescue Me and the show Emergency are way better than Chicago Fire. Chicago fire makes firefighting look fake and they don't represent Firefighters well. In a real structure fire you are never standing you are crawling on all fours your never half standing or anything like Chicago fire has them as a former firefighter I would know and Chicago Fire is the worst at it. They only you are standing is if you are outside. But once inside the fire building you are crawling not standing the SCBAs that they use I have never seen those types of SCBA masks before my department had SCOTT as our manufacturer for SCBAS never seen those types of masks ever.
