Also another theory, what if Ethel’s husband (if she had one) knew that Ethel and Belle’s husband went to the gathering. He probably went to Belle’s home and that’s when Belle’s husband murdered Ethel’s husband. Maybe this happened within the 5 days leading up to the investigator reaching out. They both fled after he committed the murder which is what made the remains fresh in the basement.

I knew Belle would be murdered and that he probably killed her by poisoning or something. Was it poison if yes then why chop up the body and hide some things. Then we learned it was a male body, and someone provably set him up as the murderer but it could be the assistant/wife or someone else. I wondered whether if the male body was belle ex boyfriend

i think people were shocked largely because they dint know, back during that time it was an open secret that both man and woman cheated but at the same time people couldn't openly show that you were cheating largely because back then you were supposed to be loyal to your wide or husband. A husband and wife could cheat on each other and both of them could know but have to act like a loyal happy couple in front of people.

The organs under the bricks were possibly Belle’s lover’s organs. Maybe Cee was onto something when she said it was possibly fresh. If Belle really went to America to visit family, her husband could have murdered Belle’s lover without her knowing and buried his remains in their basement. Something maybe happened to Belle in America which made her not come back anymore. This is just a theory. This story is too good.

Anyone thought of this? What if "Belle" was a male - they didn't talk about things like that then. Was she either raised as a female or trans and living as a woman.... The body is from when "Belle" disappeared and they said even had her birthmark. But remains tested as male.

I feel like the body was that ex of hers she would bring up but I’m confused on what happened to bell could he have sold her to someone did she just dip out and something happened when she left him but why did he run for the boats then but the birth mark was bells on the skin so what if she invited her ex to the house to do it there and the doctor heard or seen it and drugged them both did his assistant help there’s to many unanswered questions to this story

I looked into it, it was a scar not a birthmark. And the people who compared the dna reexamined that and said that the scar was falsely identified as being Belle’s.
